House MD bedside manor review. I know ER and Intake (I think that’s the term) have different requirements but all doctors have a bedside manor. I’d like you to compare yours to Dr House. Compare and contrast so to speak.
Out of curiosity isn't there enough known about chemistry and physics and biology and stuff to learn patterns of life developing? Or are we not to that point yet?
I mean... they have patients from a lot of planets... perhaps cloning the heart isn't as easy, and an artificial heart might be a complication for his species...
They actually could! And the artificial heart was superior in every single way. Why then the need for his penis? Well, every single episode in the series involves Jerry being situationally emasculated. This was making it physical, and making him want to actually be emasculated for aprobration.
6:44 most animals have the same kind of vet but for things like horses you'd need an equine specialist because working with horses is quite dangerous and you need more certification
Could you do the Rick and Morty episode where they shrink themselves and enter the bloodstream of a homeless guy, like in that movie the Fantastic Voyage?

Thank you doctor for another amazing video, as always :) Also, I have a suggestion for "medical" scene, if you can call it that. Its from a game called Quake 4, there is a section in the game where you are captured and physically turned into one of the cyborgs called "Stroggs" that humanity is in war with, but your squad raids the "Strogg Medical Processing Facility" that you are in, and shuts the whole transformation down, right before the player character would have gotten a Strogg chip embedded into his skull/mind, which would effectively wipe out any trace of humanity, and also would link him to the Strogg hivemind. The scene itself is approximately 15 minutes long and can be found on youtube easily if you write "Quake 4 Stroggification Process" and is very gruesome, so it may not be a video material appropriate, but its just a suggestion :) Anyhoo, I love your vids doc, keep em comin!
I'd love you to look at the Spongebob medical scenes! Like when he "breaks his ass" or when Patrick acts as a doctor and uses weird methods to try and cure Spongebob.,
So I just subbed even though I’ve been watching your videos for some time. I just wanted to say thank you. Horses also are very complex in their health and sometimes only a specialist can take care of an issue.
It is funny how we talk about taking a scan of the brain for neural mapping, but what Rick does might not be beyond the realm of what's possible. If your muscle memory is just a repeated task over and over, firing a specific neuron pathway every time until it's done night autonomically then why couldn't you take that particular neural map and overwrite the same chunk of another persons neural mapping to teach them that skill? I'm probably oversimplifying a very complex and nascent subject, and there are obvious moral and ethical concerns that could crop up, but still, it's interesting to think about in terms of the actual mechanics of memory.

The beginning had such a hilarious set up. Nice sweet genuine man, never has seen Rick and Morty, first dialogue, to save him, I must replace his heart with your penis 🤣
I remember we had training after deployment (they don’t do it before because you aren’t allowed to deploy for a year after they do it) but basically they have this huge epiPen with like 8 needles that explodes through your ribs to inject massive amounts of steroids into your system. They do a dry run but they still shoot through your ribs, that shit hurts and is not fun Edit: I forget what it’s called but there are two variants, ones an adrenaline shot that basically shuts down your nervous system so if you’re missing an arm or have like 6 entry/exit wounds, they shoot it into the middle of your chest (basically the imaginary line in between your nips) to get you on your feet to try and get you out of the kill box. But it’s extremely dangerous and almost never used because it can cause you to have a heart attack, bleed a lot faster, or disorientate you to the point you don’t know what the ground looks like. The second variant is for like chemical attacks, if you get exposed to mustard gas (pretty much any toxic gas with chlorine/bromine or hexaclorithane in it) it’s supposed to stop any more damage from happening, like your lungs melting or skin boiling/falling off and it is supposed to give you enough time to put on your MOPP gear or get out of dodge.
"Jojo's bizzare adventure: Golden Wind" has some medical related scenes that would be interesting to cover. Mainly because Giorno (the 5th Jojo in the series) has this power to create living things, like body parts for example, from inorganic matter.

Generally you wont see many veterinarians who are single species-specific, in fact the multiple species thing is a big point of pride for veterinarians. Veterinary medicine is divided into three schools of study: large animals, small animals, and exotic animals. Some people who go into large animal medicine specialize in horses and you can often find mobile veterinary practices that will drive out to your barn in areas with high numbers of horse owners. Within the horse racing or polo communities there are veterinarians who will be specialty surgeons for things like racing injuries etc and while they are minor celebrities within their field, most people will never knowingly meet a horse surgeon. Also, a minor criticism of Rick and Morty in relation to the horse surgeon detail: I have met many horse veterinarians who work both in animal hospital settings as well as private practices and teaching settings but I have never met one that didn't own or have hobbies heavily involving horses - we never see Beth around or interacting with a horse outside of her work.
