JAS 39 Gripen - STCC Ljungbyhed - 22-06-4 (High Quality Audio)

Yet another SPLENDID display from an F17 wing pilot with his JAS 39C Gripen! Lovely early summer weather and a soft breeze. The site is the former wing F5 Kungliga Krigsflygskolan (former Swedish Air Force Flight School) in Ljungbyhed. Today the display was to open the STCC race tour.

Yea I saw the 39E at F17 wing back in 2019 taking off, went around and made two powerfull passes before heading back to the Saab air field. The sound was considerably different in regards of power and loudness. It almost was as loud as a two engine aircraft like the Eurofighter or F/a-18C.
