As part of our commitment to national development and our principle of providing an economic foundation for democracy, the Nigerian Economic Summit Group held a series of dialogues on the Nigerian economy with presidential candidates that will accentuate discussions on the roadmap towards an inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.
Nigeria is at a decisive point in its history, and as we countdown to the 2023 polls, it is critical, like never before, to nudge Nigerians towards making informed voting choices. The challenge before us, therefore, is to ensure the evolution of a process towards a leadership with a broad knowledge of the issues and the political will to steer the ship of our great nation towards shared economic prosperity.
In a bid to live up to our mandate to foster the establishment of an economic foundation for democracy, we sought direct engagements with the presidential candidates on critical economic policy reform issues and prescriptions, in the national interest.
The presidential dialogue series is geared towards sensitizing stakeholders and citizens of Nigeria on peaceful, informed, and accountable democratic participation and provide a unique platform and opportunity for presidential candidates to discuss their economic agenda in an environment of civil discourse.

There are however documented evidence of fraud and corruption against these men. They are yet to be convicted. They are well above the law.

Tinubu did great but he is frail and weak physically shaking and struggling at times. He might end up spending more than 100 days in medical care overseas and lose track of his government. Is that what you want for Nigeria? My advise is for him to step aside as an elder and play an advisory role to the president

Excellent interactive session and I am not surprised at the level of maturity and quality of BAT response. This further confirms his level of knowledge and deep understanding of the Nigeria structure and how to fix some of these problems pragmatically. I will still encourage all to vote wisely. His avoidance of interviews was a good strategy in an attempt to hide his weaknesses. What people talked about in terms of balablu etc was not at all in his favor. As bad as he is in terms of old age, it would have been ok if he had at least won fairly.

I think after the election, as Nigerians regardless of the party/candidate we supported, we all need to revisit the President's manifesto to understand what he has for us and ensure he lived up to the task.
What some Nigerians know about the President is mostly political propaganda and that is what some still held on to.

He has actually been speaking in different town hall meetings which different media houses have covered.... I think he has beef with some media houses that he believed are owned by opposition political parties. He didn't even attend TVC which is owned by him for any interview.
