Such an entitled pervert, such a massive idiot.
for those that watching these series, we all are pretty much qualified for being better than rookie homicide detectives. the police department around the world should watch these shows as part of their training.
This is utterly daft. A woman and her daughters aren't going camping without going to their rooms to get the right clothes and misc other stuff they'll want.
why is the audio all over the place? loud music, loud detectives, low presenter voice...it's all messed up! Makes it difficult to watch through due to volume differences....
My theory is these were made for old TV sets with small mono speakers in the nineties and maybe the attention to levels was easily overlooked. Still pretty lackluster.
4:10...just wondering, why , if you were going to shoot yourself after killing your family, go to the trouble of torching the place. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense tbh.
That's the Philadelphia case. Not only was Mr. Craig Rabinowitz evil, he was tacky and a terrible actor. ``When she didn't emerge from the bath after 35 minutes, he went to check on her.'' Huh? I don't think my husband would check on me for hours. Damn, 35 minutes is nothing for a female in the bathroom. (He might come in if he had to use the toilet; I'll give him that.) That being said, I often shower with my jewelry on (rings, bangles, necklaces;) it's a rare genetic trait I possess. Now the watch, that got me. Their house was ugly, too.
How do they know that shirt was missing from that house? Is that a dumb question? LOL I don't think my family and friends wouldn't be able to tell police what clothes are missing from my house from a fire or from me missing. All of these kinds of videos are fascinating to me.
I thought the same thing at first, but thought that it's more likely that the police asked if anyone in the family had been seen wearing a similar shirt, and then checked to see if it was still there or not, but wasn't sure because I was not clear on how much damage was done to the house in the fire
The first crime sounds eerily similar, initially, to the John Markle case. He had two daughters of the same age as the two in the first crime. He also had a good wife and by all accounts had a happy marriage and happy life. The family all died in a similar manner minus the fire. I don't want to give anything else away, but it's pretty strange how much the cases initially parallel each other.
It would still fire. Bullet would tumble and be about as accurate as a .22 derringer with a 1 inch barrel. Which is probably the most inaccurate gun I’ve ever fired
And that's why you, Steven, should never ever be let on a jury. You do not the mental abilities to understand there are more possibilities than what was first seen.
Why on earth would a person move the cartridges and fire it again in an attempt to alter evidence? Get rid of evidence, especially the gun. Don’t use your vehicle or be so cheap that you try to wash the pants you got fuel oil on.
51:00 I call BS they should have tested her hands no matter what. He's trying to make an excuse for his mistake. Why can't people just own their decisions. You look like a more respectable man then making an excuse for your error....As a detective you should test everything
It wouldn't mean anything. He could have just as easily put her hand on the gun and pulled the rigger. Geez they've been doing this in movies since the 60s at least. The huge mistake was waiting tipi to test his hands. It should have been done on the spot.
@@mrs.schmenkman You follow the case not make the case, I was just saying why neglect to do a test or get some evidence just because you don't feel it's nesacery. If those detectives didn't save blood and clothing (JUST IN CASE) years ago in the 80s and 90s the DNA they are using now and solving cold cases wouldn't be happening. If I were going to use a pillow to muffle the shot into someone sleeping ... I would keep the pillow far away from them so it wouldn’t touch them and wake them up... plus if I am far away I don’t get spattered!
My comment to the tests with shooting the head through the pillow - Bloodsplatter, so what? Try holding the pillow a little further away then until no bloodsplatter occurs - then you have the distance she was shot from.
Eh, "... like removing a dirty sock". Really... and putting the dirty sock in the drawer with clean socks? Why remove a destroyed pillow to the bed in another room and not a trash can, like you'd throw a dirty sock in the laundry?
Yes I totally agree, very annoying especially when trying to listen late at night when others are trying to sleep 🙂, so I had to invest in headphones and now it still annoying because the music is so loud It wakes me up ,before the cord from headset strangles me...oh how I just want to die in my sleep. Jk! I came here to say, this is the second time watching this and they still got it wrong. On the wife killing herself and trying to blame it on her cheating husband... With a simple pillow with a gun shot into it. Just WRONG.

I did walk, not just one other person but THREE! But i remarried, he died, i remarried, he died. First hubby died between 2nd and 3rd. 74 now, dont think i will try again.
It's ridiculous, IMO, for law enforcement to take "my wife drowned in the bathtub" at face value. I don't know if an adult could actually drown in a bathtub or how, but due to the number of times husbands have killed their wives this way, I don't know how anyone can believe someone telling them this.
16:40 they found a shirt that said "class of 2001" but the killer was was arrested in July 1996? Am I missing something? Maybe the narrator was supposed to say "1991"?
It could be that the “Real Responders” folks don’t have copyright, so they mess with the sound to make it more difficult to detect....you can watch these episodes on the “New Detectives” UA-cam channel for free. They have about the same number of commercials, but the sound is correct.
In my lifetime there are two boundaries that when violated make getting the relationship back on track only a very remote possibility: -Infidelity -An ongoing *pattern* of abuse of any kind (It doesn’t matter which party engages in these behaviors.)
How did they know the history of the markings of the bullets from the gun with no barrel that the serial numbers were filed off of that couldn't be traced? Just curious. Thanks for sharing!!
Quote from the audio..."The bullets taken from the bodies showed 6 lands & grooves. Reference manuals for the gun found at the crime scene showed its normal pattern would be 8 lands & grooves, concluding that the gun left was merely a "drop gun" intended to fool the Police.
Also why is it titles “criminals who tried to con detectives”; is that because the detectives weren’t fooled on the last on also even though the outcome was in his favor? How about “attorney tries to get man convicted”, or “2 criminals who try to con detectives, and 1 who also tried but failed to con them but was able to con the jury and walk free after murdering his wife of 33 years.”
I don't understand why family are allowed to prevent autopsies, especially in cases where there's suspicion of foul play. What law gives them ownership of a person's body? How is it ethical? Thankfully in this case the doctor stood his ground, but there must be many cases of murder and manslaughter where the criminal got away with it because a family member's emotions or stupid religious beliefs from an ancient time period when humans didn't understand anatomy were deemed more important than catching a potential murderer and the police weren't suspicious enough to look for other evidence, or they did look but weren't able to find enough evidence without examining the body. I'm sure some of those cases were ruled as suicide which means their family and friends were left believing their loved one was suffering deeply and they failed to help them.
The last one is ridiculous! Who were the dumb ass people on that jury! I would have instantly called out that pillow test that they did. A blood soaked sponge is gonna splatter way more. Her head wasn’t a thick blood soaked sponge. She had a skull and a brain. That test was faulty af. Why didn’t the state do the same test but in a more accurate way and also look for evidence from other murders where a person was shot in the head through a pillow. I think him saying he moved the pillow was a mistake because if she was trying to frame him I don’t see why she would have it set next to her to be able to even move. Also if I found my husband shot dead I would be washing my hands before help arrived or before going to get help. Like who does that? Also what about the fact of how the gun was placed and the blood marks on her arm. When you die I thought you stiffen, so if he were to have hugged her and her arm went down and the gun fell and he just positioned her back wouldn’t the gun have stayed in her hand or if anything you would have had blood drips tuning to proper way then partial back the way it came. That pisses me off so bad! He gets to be free? Like what? He’s a piece of shit that deserves to burn in hell.

Bramblette wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed was he?
I mean what did he think would happen? Did he think they wouldn’t check time of death and notice a difference?
That the cops would just walk in, look around for a minute and then just close the case?
And when he complained to the detective, suggesting it was a murder suicide - besides having information about the scene, it’s like he believed that the cops would agree.

LMAOOOOOO "oh my GOD she STRANGLED herself"
@pam Daniel
Maybe it was a favourite shirt ,that was worn a lot
@VixenTheFox Oh, ok. I wasn't even thinking about it like that, as a mother, because I'm not a mother. DUH!! LOL

How can they think it's a murder suicide when the gun barrel was removed.
Cause you can still shoot gun without a barrel, and since up close and personal it would still hit target.
@@wynottgivemore9274 Or they want it to be a suicide, less work.
It would still fire. Bullet would tumble and be about as accurate as a .22 derringer with a 1 inch barrel. Which is probably the most inaccurate gun I’ve ever fired

Open for debate: I would like to hear why/why not you think Mintz in the end is innocent/guilty. I worded it like that to prevent spoilers ;)

You can kill them instantly! You fire as the pillow reaches them they wouldn't know what happened!!
No more lap dances for Craig. No 1.5 million $. Bubba's got your back. lol
My comment to the tests with shooting the head through the pillow - Bloodsplatter, so what? Try holding the pillow a little further away then until no bloodsplatter occurs - then you have the distance she was shot from.
? Shoot the victim's head again and again until you get the right amount of blood spatter? How weird are you??
But if i was compressed to the head i dont think their will be lots of blood spatter on the pillow...
Eh, "... like removing a dirty sock". Really... and putting the dirty sock in the drawer with clean socks? Why remove a destroyed pillow to the bed in another room and not a trash can, like you'd throw a dirty sock in the laundry?
At 11:01 the firearms expert points the gun towards himself and pulls the trigger.
Way to go Mr. expert in firearms!!!
The hubby is guilty that's plain to see..
lesson learned: the background atmospheric sound effects including music take away from the information and story. Narrators, please take heed.
P
I like the music.
Just WRONG.
And o the detective that woke his darling wife up from a dead sleep, first of all bad choice of word... And secondly no wonder there is such a high devorce rate in the police force 🙂
It isn't the narrator fault though. It's the editor lol
I did walk, not just one other person but THREE!
But i remarried, he died, i remarried, he died. First hubby died between 2nd and 3rd.

This should be called dead obvious
It's ridiculous, IMO, for law enforcement to take "my wife drowned in the bathtub" at face value. I don't know if an adult could actually drown in a bathtub or how, but due to the number of times husbands have killed their wives this way, I don't know how anyone can believe someone telling them this.
Music is to loud
16:40 they found a shirt that said "class of 2001" but the killer was was arrested in July 1996? Am I missing something? Maybe the narrator was supposed to say "1991"?
It belonged to the little girl so her grad year would have been 2001 because she was only 11 at the time
irrelevant???, That's the first thing to do, in a case like this, does he still have a job, after irrelevant???
Soooo - he got away with it.
The third case left my mouth on the floor.
It would be easier to hear what is being said if that music was not so loud. It makes it difficult to follow.
In fact, the entire audio mix is absurd.
You should Also watch - Peter Tosh betrayed by Santa Davis -
The music at the background overtaking the comentator’s voice
It could be that the “Real Responders” folks don’t have copyright, so they mess with the sound to make it more difficult to detect....you can watch these episodes on the “New Detectives” UA-cam channel for free. They have about the same number of commercials, but the sound is correct.
He was long dead n gone for good..wen they started to search for him..
I saw the original of that episode but the sound effect wasn't that load and the voice off was louder so I prefer the original version
Note to self… don’t get married 🤪
If i find out my husband seeing someone. No words. I walk.
Does he kind of understand so, i wonder!
In my lifetime there are two boundaries that when violated make getting the relationship back on track only a very remote possibility:
-Infidelity
-An ongoing *pattern* of abuse of any kind
(It doesn’t matter which party engages in these behaviors.)
So if you don't find out, dose that mean your staying. ....???
Saturday was a week ago...lol
Yeah see yeah later
If your husband is like sergeant Joseph Snodgrass he'll kill you before you know about the infidelity and have a chance to leave
How did they know the history of the markings of the bullets from the gun with no barrel that the serial numbers were filed off of that couldn't be traced? Just curious. Thanks for sharing!!
I don't know tbh. They say they matched the firing pin from his other gun ?
Quote from the audio..."The bullets taken from the bodies showed 6 lands & grooves. Reference manuals for the gun found at the crime scene showed its normal pattern would be 8 lands & grooves, concluding that the gun left was merely a "drop gun" intended to fool the Police.
That was a 'drop' gun; not the actual murder weapon.
I can’t believe this guy got away with murder
He didn’t. He was convicted on 4 counts as the video states.
The music on the background spoiled the fun
It was a stupid idea
As scuzzy as they try to make the actors look, they're nowhere near as awful-looking as the actual criminals. Sin definitely shows its toll.
That creepy cop who bragged about waking up his wife in the middle of the night has a manner that SCREAMS abuser.
I thought that too.
Imagine baggings the hands in a shooting case and not testing her hands
Mintz how aweful he got away with murder
very loud music
Also why is it titles “criminals who tried to con detectives”; is that because the detectives weren’t fooled on the last on also even though the outcome was in his favor? How about “attorney tries to get man convicted”, or “2 criminals who try to con detectives, and 1 who also tried but failed to con them but was able to con the jury and walk free after murdering his wife of 33 years.”
But one of them wasn't a criminal if we assume he is innocent...
"The Big Easy a little queasy". Can't believe the narrator said that...
