Interview with Laney College Wide Reciever RJ Stern

I met RJ in 2016 while coaching his brother at College Park HS. He was different mentally, and I knew he was worth my time. I was starving to teach and he to learn and we quickly created a bond. We started training at 6am 3/days week on his route running. After a year of him improving his craft, he got the starting job at Laney College in Oakland and he has been going upward since. He will appear on this season of Last Chance U on Netflix, a show that highlights the season of a different junior college every year. This interview will highlight RJ as a person, his journey thus far, what he has learned, and what he plans to do in the future. Thank you for tuning in.
