Fresh Air or Recirculation Air | When to use what | Defogging technique | Avoid vomiting sensation

Air conditioning system in a car definitely acts like a boon on summer afternoons but there's something regarding this system which you should be aware of.
This is regarding the Air which flows in your car AC.
In this video, I've tried to explain the 2 modes using which you can definitely have a much more comfortable experience on longer rides with more members.
The modes are - Fresh Air mode & Recirculation mode!
Also I've addressed the most common issue i.e. Windshield fog and vomiting sensation.

I stay in a polluted environment with lots of harmful gases around and halfway done roads or bridges which which create a dusty atmosphere...so whats your take on these kinda situations.? Fresh air mode or circulation mode?

Car's air conditioning system do have a Cabin air filter but they can't arrest the harmful gases.
Addressing your concern you can keep your car on Recirculation mode while passing through that area.
