I was grateful to see you explain the rt hand lft hand from a top placement orientation. I plan to do this on the rt hand side and was curious if the mount would be too high for the A2 front sight. Nope! Thank you
If you happen to have a smaller diameter flashlight, Harbor Freight sells packs of assorted size & diameter shrink wrap to take up some of the excess slack. When Gander Mountain was going out of business I picked up one of their name brand lights for pennies on the dollar. I had a Blackhawk light mount that was just slightly too large for my new light. I didn't want to just wrap it with duct or electrical tape so I set out for a cleaner solution. Just a tip if you find yourself in a similar situation.
@@2phast You are welcome sir. I just discovered your channel recently and subscribed. Keep doing what you're doing, I don't think anyone is more thorough. I never have unanswered questions after watching videos on any products you've reviewed.
I think I'd agree that the light activation is awkward. Maybe you could get the Magpul MOE L2 or L5 rail rail, mount to side, then mount this on the side (approximately 7-O'Clock position) so you can activate your light with your thumb.
I have mounted this in different ways and none interfered with the sight picture, but this was only tested using small red dots, not larger optics like ACOG's or scopes.

Thank you sir!! I was struggling for a bit and I don’t have much patience, but this really helped!!
What's the bit size??
Thanks for the help now I know I need a left hand mount to do the exact opposite of how you mounted

Can't seem to get a good answer anywhere.. Does the high positioning of the light interfere with FOV when looking through optics?

Seem to miss some of your posts but I still enjoy your videos. Thanks for consistently posting.
