I bought a Noveske KX-5 'flash suppressor' and a Spikes Tactical "Barking Spider" krink style linear comp years ago, they do the same thing, basically an expansion chamber. I think the appeal of these types is that it lets you run a 2 or 3 chambered brake that you can put a sleeve over which dramatically reduces the violent report a bare 2/3 chambered brake makes. I'm not a competitor or a target shooter, I hunt with mine (6.5 Grendel) and usually hunt with friends who appreciate not getting smoked by an open brake. Personally I have no interest in running a brake and even an A2 birdcage is awfully loud, so I'm happy with my Noveske and Spike's since you can't have suppressors in my state. The noise is tolerable from behind the rifle w/o ear pro while hunting, no louder than the shotgun I hunt birds with.
@@michaelkaiser1864 On my 16" you only notice the flash in lower light, flash is slightly larger in diameter than a bare muzzle but not nearly as bright. Real benefit is it takes the initial snap and some volume out of the report.
@@Chuck1284- I’m curious about how far downrange the sound wave carries?! I’m sure anything inside of 300-500 yards would spook other game nearby, but out beyond 500 yards the sound wave should be negligible or pretty much nothing.

Hey Jaime Williams, was wondering if there was any chance that you guys have started making a 223/556 in that stealth blast 💥 it seems to send that bite of noise down range like you said! I’d love to try it for sure!
I'm in Casper fairly often. Would I be able to swing down to Glenrock and get one directly? I might bring my rifle and pay you to help me install the thing.

Thanks for the video. Does it come with shims so you can time/clock the brake? I was looking into getting one for my AR so its better shooting on the line with everyone. I make videos so I'll probably do one too
Sorry but I just bought two of these - one for my AR-15 shooting 5.56 and another for my 357 Magnum lever action carbine. Honestly, I could barely tell a difference with or without the device. $250 (for two) down the drain. And honestly, the finish was not nice at all - not sure what you call it but it is a very crude finish - not blued or magnesium phosphate - but some coating that was a bit scratched up. Displeased.
We're sorry to hear you're unsatisfied with the performance. You may just want to look into a suppressor. As far as whether or not that money was wasted, simply reach out and we'll be happy to arrange a return! The finish is a gas nitride finish. If you want to darken it some I recommend a light coat of your preferred gun oil.
very curious, have you guys tested this on pistols. i have a glock and a taurus pt92 (berretta 92 clone) that i'd like to doll up, more for the shits and giggles than anything. if i have to use a specific ammo then thats fine, i typically run stuff on the +p side anyhow.
The point is to make shooting more comfortable and safer. Our devices are not hearing safe (neither are most suppressors). We never recommend shooting any firearm without hearing protection!
Some friendly advice: You are selling these wayyy too cheap. Since this is basically another version of a Blast Forwarding Device, like the top selling Novesky KX3, which sells for $135 is most places, But honestly, yours is quieter, you really get no benefit from selling it any less than $129. At the lower price, the people that are price sensitive will still buy the lower price, and those who want the quieter can will buy it even if the price were a little higher than the KX3, again, because this design is quieter than the KX3, which is your main competition. The difference in price will not change the # of sales, but it could double your profit margin. :0)
I'm digging this. I have a linear compensator on my 9mm carbine and it makes a huge difference. This would be awesome.
Yes ..love the slim profile...i would love a nitride one too

This SMD works on well my ZF5-T; I would guess about a 10db reduction in noise and observed the noise is thrown more forward.
@Deer Creek Arms - Why compare to solvent trap adapter? Those are for cleaning firearms... We need to be careful w/ what we say...
Yep, YT even advertises solvent traps and fuel filters for sale, so definitely nothing wrong with those.

How much
