I'm digging this. I have a linear compensator on my 9mm carbine and it makes a huge difference. This would be awesome.
Yes ..love the slim profile...i would love a nitride one too
Don't suppose you could turn the background music down? It almost drowns out the audio. Thanks
I bought a Noveske KX-5 'flash suppressor' and a Spikes Tactical "Barking Spider" krink style linear comp years ago, they do the same thing, basically an expansion chamber. I think the appeal of these types is that it lets you run a 2 or 3 chambered brake that you can put a sleeve over which dramatically reduces the violent report a bare 2/3 chambered brake makes. I'm not a competitor or a target shooter, I hunt with mine (6.5 Grendel) and usually hunt with friends who appreciate not getting smoked by an open brake. Personally I have no interest in running a brake and even an A2 birdcage is awfully loud, so I'm happy with my Noveske and Spike's since you can't have suppressors in my state. The noise is tolerable from behind the rifle w/o ear pro while hunting, no louder than the shotgun I hunt birds with.
What does it do for flash? Thats the one thing keeping my A2 on my rifles. They work. Barely anything when hog hunting.
@@michaelkaiser1864 On my 16" you only notice the flash in lower light, flash is slightly larger in diameter than a bare muzzle but not nearly as bright. Real benefit is it takes the initial snap and some volume out of the report.

I’m curious about how far downrange the sound wave carries?!
I’m sure anything inside of 300-500 yards would spook other game nearby, but out beyond 500 yards the sound wave should be negligible or pretty much nothing.
I agree I have some guns that I hunt with that have a super violent recoil would be nice to reduce recoil a little without giving myself a sound concussion.
Just got mine today in 9mm. Solidly made. Can’t wait to take out to the range.
How long ago did you order yours? I ordered mine last night but it’s a pre order so I don’t think I’ll get mine for a while
@@GunJunky50AE about a month
@@HarshmanHills damn lol. Have you shot your gun with it yet?
@@GunJunky50AE not yet. Just test fits. Been to cold for outdoor range. Hoping I get a warm day soon to try it out
@@HarshmanHills I couldn’t wait lol, I’d drive anywhere in the woods and just got shoot some shots off to hear I’m so impatient
How is it on 10.5 in barrels?
u got a new sub just because u called nfa tax a government extortion fee which is EXACTLY what it is. #SHALLNOTBEINFRINGED🏴☠
Just got mine today and took it out. Well to get an idea of how it did I was able to shoot my ar15 with no ear protection.
Are you trying to get Tinnitus? These don’t actually reduce sound levels.
@@aluminiumqueso4890 It puts All the sound down range I know it don’t reduce sound but I czn still shoot with out ear protection. I was just trying to give an example of how less loud it is
@@GunJunky50AEYou’re still doing permanent hearing damage.
@@aluminiumqueso4890 I’m sure or it. I have ear protection I use, I was simply trying to compare it
@@GunJunky50AEI know the other guys have already said it plenty, but I just want to drive home there's no such thing as a hearing safe AR. Even the bolt closing in an empty chamber is about 130db. Loud enough to damage your hearing with repeat exposure.
Would love one for my Ruger 10/22, but would need a slip on/bolt on, as it is a non-threaded muzzle.
Can these be made to be easily pin and welded? Looking to get a 13.9 barrel to 16
I'm on the same mission. The Witt sme doesn't work for 13.9" ...
Will this work on a rim fire rifle
@6:19 they talk about the 4 most popular calibers they make. .22 being one of them.
Very cool can you make a video showing the pistol version in action?
This SMD works on well my ZF5-T; I would guess about a 10db reduction in noise and observed the noise is thrown more forward.
What if you stuff some steel wool into the blast can?
I reckon it'll blow it all to hell in a few shots.
@armedfarm3429 yeah eventually but...
Eta for orders?
What % of Recoil can be reduced???
He said none, it’s not a comp.
Hey Jaime Williams, was wondering if there was any chance that you guys have started making a 223/556 in that stealth blast 💥 it seems to send that bite of noise down range like you said! I’d love to try it for sure!
I'm in Casper fairly often. Would I be able to swing down to Glenrock and get one directly? I might bring my rifle and pay you to help me install the thing.
Do yall have an eta for the backorder on the 22 cal stealthblast?
I have what you could call a take down survival rifle in 5.7x28 by a company called dark mountain arms the barrel is threaded what would you recommend for this rifle
For the Dark Mountain stowaway, I'd recommend either a 5.56 suppressor for maximum dampening, or a Dead Air Mask 22lr, which is rated for 5.7, if you're more concerned about weight savings.
@Deer Creek Arms - Why compare to solvent trap adapter? Those are for cleaning firearms... We need to be careful w/ what we say...
Yep, YT even advertises solvent traps and fuel filters for sale, so definitely nothing wrong with those.
How much
$110
What's the overall length? My 4.5" barrel need a 4" plus muzzle device to go past the handguard.
@chandlermcsteele1194
Use a threaded muzzle extension?!
I don’t think those exist, but from what I saw in the video, the entire device looks like it’s between 2” and 3.5” and I’m betting on it being shorter than 3.5”!
I just looked up their website and they state that the overall length of the SMD is 2.9”/3”!
I have a AR pistol I need one for it how much are they
From what I saw on their website, they run from $110-$129(9mm pistol device)!
What thread pitch is the 9mm
Where do you buy
Links for purchase
I looked over the website but couldn’t find what material the muzzle devices are made from. Is it a Stainless Steel or an Aluminum of some kind?
As of now 4140 steel, although we are developing an aluminum version.
everybody making these now? is it cheaper than witt machine
Watching from the great state of Wyoming too !
Only place to live.
Where u at in this Great State?
Casper now but been in Wyoming over fitty years.
You're in glenrock I looked it up
Yes sir, just down the road!
For 223 Remington?
Any eta on backorder? Witt is on sale right now but I'd rather purchase from you guys.
We're running nearly around the clock trying to keep up with demand. The nitriding company has just received our latest batch of parts and so we're looking at about 10-14 from now!
@@DeerCreekArms
Ten to fourteen days or weeks???
Would love one in 9mm 1/2 - 28 for my 350 legend.
I suggest you try the Witt Machine SME. I have one in 30 Cal. Takes the edge off. I believe the advertisement of 3 dB reduction at the shooter ear.
Can I contact you guys for a custom order?
Absolutely! Simply navigate your way to our website and fill out a contact form and someone will be in touch.
Thanks for the video. Does it come with shims so you can time/clock the brake?
I was looking into getting one for my AR so its better shooting on the line with everyone.
I make videos so I'll probably do one too
Sorry but I just bought two of these - one for my AR-15 shooting 5.56 and another for my 357 Magnum lever action carbine. Honestly, I could barely tell a difference with or without the device. $250 (for two) down the drain. And honestly, the finish was not nice at all - not sure what you call it but it is a very crude finish - not blued or magnesium phosphate - but some coating that was a bit scratched up. Displeased.
We're sorry to hear you're unsatisfied with the performance. You may just want to look into a suppressor. As far as whether or not that money was wasted, simply reach out and we'll be happy to arrange a return! The finish is a gas nitride finish. If you want to darken it some I recommend a light coat of your preferred gun oil.
@@DeerCreekArms Thank You, I will reach out to arrange the return. I appreciate your response.
Many thanks to @DeerCreekArms for the quality customer service and taking care of my concerns. They were very gracious and a pleasure to work with.
What are the dimensions?

Can you ship to California.
Hahah 😂feels sorry for ya. Read you laws buddy.

Try researching the name.
very curious, have you guys tested this on pistols. i have a glock and a taurus pt92 (berretta 92 clone) that i'd like to doll up, more for the shits and giggles than anything. if i have to use a specific ammo then thats fine, i typically run stuff on the +p side anyhow.
We have a pistol compatible variant coming soon!

If you made this a little chunkier, say similar size to warden, I think you could take the lead ..

Why do you play the annoying music
Buy their sound mitigation and you won't have to hear it 😂
It's to cover the hum transformers and lights. Plus, we're machinists. This whole videography thing is pretty to new to me!
@@DeerCreekArmsWhen is the pistol version coming out?
@@KidKolibri In trials now.
You are right about my head and the spin cycle, but it's from that horrible music muting your audio. Bad mate, bad...
Why the ear muffs in the video. isnt the point not to have to wear protection.
The point is to make shooting more comfortable and safer. Our devices are not hearing safe (neither are most suppressors). We never recommend shooting any firearm without hearing protection!
Pitter patter
Some friendly advice: You are selling these wayyy too cheap. Since this is basically another version of a Blast Forwarding Device, like the top selling Novesky KX3, which sells for $135 is most places, But honestly, yours is quieter, you really get no benefit from selling it any less than $129. At the lower price, the people that are price sensitive will still buy the lower price, and those who want the quieter can will buy it even if the price were a little higher than the KX3, again, because this design is quieter than the KX3, which is your main competition. The difference in price will not change the # of sales, but it could double your profit margin. :0)
He’s not selling them too cheap all those other people are just ripping us off
some friendly advice, just shut ur mouth
On there website after selecting one, the price said $115 (btw, not that cheap). Then you suggest they sell them for $129, and that is going to double their profit margin? 😆
So if that is true, that would mean their current profit is only $15 per sale (and $100 to make it)? 😆🤣😂
14Lx1 ak threads?
Just get a suppressor. Dont be poor
Ill tell my bank to adjust my account with more money so I can by a silencer. Dumb comment
