Dollywood's Heartsong Lodge Detailed Tour & Review | Room, Grounds, Dining, Amenities & More!

- Created to complement the natural picturesque aesthetic of the great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood's Heartsong Lodge & Resort had its official grand opening on November 3rd, 2023. This is Dollywood's second resort.
Their first being the DreamMore Resort which is designed to capture the presence of Dollywood's matriarch and Dreamer in Chief, Dolly Parton.
We had the privilege of being able to stay at the Heartsong Lodge during their official opening weekend and during Dollywood's signature Holiday event, Smoky Mountain Christmas. In this video, we provide a detailed tour. Showing our two queen bed w/ balcony room but also providing information on the differing room types. There are design choices imbedded in this resort that are meant to invoke the same sense of inspiration the magic of the Smoky Mountains provided Dolly Parton throughout her life.
We, of course, had to review the dining at the Songbird Market, show the indoor & outdoor pools, gym, ticketing center, the new table service restaurant, fire places, play areas and all included amenities in a Heartsong Lodge stay.
Two years ago we provided a detailed tour of Dollywood's DreamMore Resort. At the end of this video we compare the two hotels to see which we prefer and try to help you see which Dollywood Resort is right for your family.

There's definitely a lot of nods and thematic elements throughout the resort that pay homage to the Smoky Mountains. It's a beautiful resort. Definitely worthy of an anniversary stay! Merchandise was on point and the mural was a nice touch. Hope you can get here for your anniversary 🙂.

We just visited Dollywood for the first time in October. 0:00 We loved it so much that we decided to buy an annual pass. We live in Michigan, so it's only an 8 hour drive.The Cinnamon Bread at the Gristmill is out of this world. We would definitely love to stay at the Heartsong on our next visit. Great video!

😆 no worries! Let me tell you, we have a very similar story. We went and just had to buy the annual pass we enjoyed it so much. It's easier for us to get there now but really wish they'd expand the Tyson McGhee Airport to make travel easier to this part of Tennessee. The Cinnamon Bread at the Grist Mill is superior. So happy you guys got to try it and experience the park. This resort definitely accentuates the Dollywood/Smoky Mountain experience. Thank you 🙂.
So appreciate your attention to detail! This video gave me the best sense of the overall atmosphere out of any I have watched so far. We have stayed at Dream More and love it. Hope we get to stay here sometime too. Can’t wait to use that perfectly sized cinnamon bread shelf! 😂
I was honestly worried I packed too much in here. Thank you! Really happy this video served a utility for you. When filming the hotel tours we try our best to capture the scale, layout and subtle details in these resorts. DreamMore is one of my favorite resorts and Heartsong is definitely a worthy sister resort. Hope you guys get to stay here real soon 🙂. The Cinnamon Bread shelf is definitely one of the reasons we liked these rooms better than DreamMore 😆.

We loved Heartsong! We have also stayed at Dreammore. So hard to compare the both of them since they both are so completely different in decor and vibe. If someone is looking for more of a home cozy feeling then Dreammore will not disappoint. I loved the woodsy mountain feeling from Heartsong. I do love how Heartsong has so many different areas to relax at and in so many different spots, not just centrally located, like Dreammore. If Dreammore had balconies I’d most likely pick there over Heartsong.
Can't go wrong with either!! So happy we ran into you, we always meet the best people when we're in Dollywood !
Ok so Christina and I have been looking up two bedroom cabins. We will let you know when we book it soooo make sure you are free when we do cause that other room is for you guys.
😆 let's do it! Fair warning though, the cabins don't come with transportation to the park. The views look stunning though. We're down for any Dollywood resort. You guys need to experience this park.

You do! The resorts are priced similarly but right now they have some deals on DreamMore since Heartsong is so new. Late October to Early November is the best time to see the Fall foliage in the Smoky Mountains. Cozy is the perfect way to describe this resort.
