    Skid steer for kids? I would play with this and I’m nowhere close to being a kid - well actually I’m a kid at heart. Fantastic!

      You'd better make yourself a fleet of them Steve. Don't forget to make the motor noises while playing as well. LOL. Thanks for tuning in to the show.

    This is great and I know my youngest grandson is going to enjoy playing with it. He just turned three and is well into the wheeled toys I've made for him. This 'frontend loader' will add neatly to his toybox. Thank you from Anaco, Vzla.

    4:05--A bit wider and you would have a great base for a modular system you could build to make any vehicle. Uh-huh. So I just watched the whole vid, and I guess you kind'a figured that already LOL. Cool build, great design.I think the "Child" had fun..just kiddin'. Btw thanks for the Volbeat heads up. Glad you liked the Volbeat. I saw them open up for Metallica a few years ago along with Lamb of God. They gave an incredible show and I was pretty much hooked after that. Great energy in their music. Thanks for tuning in Dale.

    Kenny, Hope you aren't running out of scraps yet because your projects are great. Is your granddaughter enjoying all these toys you are making for her? They are mostly for her aren't they? Nice job and great choice of woods.

      I've got plenty of scrap and plenty of ideas Paul. My granddaughter goes on binges. She will play with them one week and then the next week, she will want to play with dolls and Fisher Price Little People. She does seem to like them though and so far, they are standing up to her abuse. LOL. Thanks for tuning in sir.

    That Skid Steer will go with the flatbed. Makes a great pair. That is a cool little design! I haven't made a wooden toy since our son was in 1st grade. I made a fleet of ships...cargo tug, etc. That was over 30 years ago. With my shop closed until spring, I'm still drawing up ideas. I have just finished three whirligig designs. One is for a couple in Florida...I got roped into it lol. The woman was so excited when her husband wanted to see and then saw some photos of my work, I couldn't say no lol. I told them that what ever they think it is worth, just donate what they think is the monetary value to their agriculture youth group. I'm painting a give-a-way to another youth group now. It isn't a whirligig though. That is why it is nice of you to give out your designs free. I have donated or given away about 9 projects this past year. It is so rewarding and to see smiles on people's faces! It makes it a lot more fun for me. I sure others have done the same and received just as much enjoyment from it. I bet you do too! Take care!

      Glad to hear that your designs are going well Michael and that people are loving them. You are right that sometimes, just being generous and giving things away instead of trying to make a dollar from it is way more rewarding. I love seeing the pictures of the projects that people make from the designs that I give away. Knowing that children all over the world are playing with the toys that I designed is extremely rewarding. Thanks for tuning in and thanks for sharing your story with me.

    Thank you very much for this little cutey and for sharing it. Regarding the plans, would be helpful if you'd add the center points of the holes to be drilled.

    • @acutabove_woodworkings
      @acutabove_woodworkings  2 роки тому

      I have had other viewers mention that lately and it will be considered for future plans. I have several already made that I might be able to incorporate the cross hairs. The good news is that none of the holes are critical to the project's success so as long as you get it close, the patter will still work. I hope this helps a little. Thanks for tuning in to the show.

    I enjoy your videos, I have to ask why you don’t use hole saw for your wheels

    • @acutabove_woodworkings
      @acutabove_woodworkings  2 роки тому

      I have used a hole saw for the wheels Lee but in most cases, I prefer the method that I demonstrated on today's show. There's nothing wrong with either method and both will yield excellent results. It's all a matter of personal preference, that's all. Thanks for tuning in and for taking the time to leave your question.
