Over time yes, you run the risk of cracking the gearbox at the front, also depending on the motor it may struggle to pull it back

Hey is there any way to not have to feed bb’s as often for this gun type specifically?

You could use mid cap style mags, they wouldn't need any winding but you will have less in the mag. Other options could be electric self winding mags or flash mags.

Stick to the same length so you are not messing with air volumes but go for a 6.03
