First you'll start clicking things in your terminal windows, then you'll just opt for the thunar file manager, and in 2021 you'll be uploading plasma desktop tutorials. I'm calling it now
Why are you making your own plumbing program instead of the one that comes with plan9port? Open $PLAN9/plumb/basic and edit that to create new rules. Then run plumber on user login, and then pipe text through plumb(1).

Would be awsome if you could do a more advanced guide for ranger. I know it is really powerfull, but there are NOT many good videos on these "powers" on YT. Hope you will find time one day. I will donate a few bucks whenever i get my paycheck this month, regardless if you make the video or not. Keep up the good work :-)

You need the directory of the currently selected window, while the script is being run without a window in your home directory when you press the shortcut.
Hey Luke, I'm noob. How do I learn to make a custom plumbing script from scratch? I think this would be a neat feature for something like ArchLabs or other lightweight, "user-friendly" oriented tiling window manager distros/setups.
I tried this script and it doesn't work for some reason. Terminal either says "nothing appropriate" or some errors on line 16 or 17 or something. Maybe I'm just too noob...

This is comedy.
Hi Luke love your interesting, educational vlogs. Learning so much from your videos. Keep up the great work. Best wishes.

Hi Luke, could you make a video on zathura with synctex and dmenu/fzf to open files
I may be wrong here, but for getting your current directory can't you just use pwd?
You need the directory of the currently selected window, while the script is being run without a window in your home directory when you press the shortcut.
Plumbing should problably be the job of a specialized terminal, like acme but without the text editor
Acme itself doesn't plumb, although it did use to, although not really because it wasn't _called_ plumbing until it was separated out.

Do you still have the script in your voidrice repo? I couldn't find it.
This is funky .. I could never see you using this , but its cool nevertheless..
You know that Mouse-2 doesn't invoke the plumber right?
Yet another video. Dammit, you're stopping me from getting work done.
If you want to do *everything*, just install emacs. 😏
Where can I found this script? I think that this can be really usefull
That's a great script! Thanks.
wow I would've never thought you can open folders and copy text with a mouse!
