Harbor Freight Swivel Head Hand Riveter Review

Fasteners 63396, this is Harbor Freights swivel handrail that is surprisingly well price considering it comes with a 100 piece rivet set it seems to work fine time will tell how it holds up but it does look nice and is better than the bottom of the barrel units . .

I've had this harbor freight swivel head riveter for about 5 or 6 years and have popped probably over 1,000 rivets using it and it's still going strong.

Never used a riveter before. Found that I needed one and bought this one at HF. The instructions on the package are pretty straight forward but I was still unsure. Your video explained this tool very well. So well, that my 8 year old grandson was able to use this riveter without my help. Thank you for a great and simple video.

Funny you mention the lack of "Fastenpro" label on the tool. My two-handed HF riveter says Fastenpro on the box, but actually has Pittsburgh painted on the side of the tool. Riveters are great -- I've fixed many stripped-out screw holes by using rivets on them, and the washer/rivet combo on soft materials is another great trick.

Those look similar to my blue point riveter. The only difference is my blue point ones have the boxy handles like the one that broke. But they’re good riveters. I like them
