SO how do you turn it off?
Really annoying that Mazda disabled the Lane-Trace feature that keeps the car on the center of the lane. If you don’t believe it, just need to compare the Mazdausa user manual with the international one (there you can adjust the sensitivity of the LKAS to kick in early, so tracing the lane on the center) . I can’t understand why Mazda removed this in America, other than out of fear to liability in case of accidents due to drivers keeping their hands off the wheel. However other brands in America include Lane tracing.
For sure its rampant litigation. Lawyers own America and not in a good way!
just got my CX-5 and wish i had tested this prior to buying. Honda's system is sooo much better, especially using cruise control. I am not sure this would have been a deal breaker, since none of honda or toyota's cars drive like the CX-5 turbo does.
Hyundai's system has both Mazda and Honda's beat.
The 2019 one sucks for Mazdas. The engineers in Japan for Mazda just stepped up their game. Test drive a 2024 one. I work for the company. Amazing.
Does the system keep the car at the center? Can it follow curve road?
whisperyck I’m gonna take his lack of response as a “no”.

Its just a lane assist, in europe we can set 3 sensitivities on it. it is NOT autonomous driving! Its for when you are tired and lose concentration.
That's extremely dangerous driving bro
