Very helpful, Rob. Thank you!
I’ve been visiting the battlefields for 25 years or so and still haven’t seen everything, thanks so much for your excellent quality videos and great narration. I’m a fan ❤
Thanks Jack glad you enjoyed it
Excellent stuff. Heading over in a couple of days for the first time with my son and we will follow your two day itinerary. We've been doing our homework for months, well years really but your videos are superb and so helpful.
Thank you I appreciate that. Have a great trip
Underrated channel!! Do more battlefield walkthroughs, your channels going to blow up 👊
That's the plan!
Great video Rob! Cant recommend people enough for going to Delville wood!
Thanks Sander, yeah that's such an interesting site.
Great video. Brings back lovely memories.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great idea to give sugestions about a tour! Thank you!
Thanks
Nice and helpful, I used to be a regular visitor down that way having worked for Leger doing their tours mind you that was 20 odd years ago ,I'm planning on coming down next week on my Bonneville and spending 2 days before heading off to Vimy and then onto Ypres
Have a great trip down
@@historyinyourhand1787 here now staying at the Ibis in Albert
Thank you for the really helpful video. Obviously there are a lot of places to see and it’s dependent on personal interest and family history I suppose. If you have time, I would have thought High Wood is a must do too. I’d be very interested to see the landscape the Deccan Horse covered in their charge. You can’t enter the wood because it’s privately owned and for safety reasons I think.
High Wood could definitely make the list
Hey, Rob :) Cool video! Glad to hear that there are a lot of restaurants as well as hotels there.
The Somme 1916 Museum sounds awesome.
I'd like to visit Delville Wood. Great info about what South African troops went through. I think I saw the video before (not 100% sure) but I want to see it again.
The dragon monument is the first I've heard of a dragon monument being used for a military cemetery.
I would like to visit the Pozieres Cemetery also.
The Ulster (sp? I am on my phone so the text is smaller) Tower tour is one I'd like to join too.
Thanks for the recommendations! Great video. Take care, Rob :)
Excellent..👍👍
If you go to the Ulster tower. Read this book. Brass Hats in No Mans land.
