What’s with you Canadians and going to Mexico??? I mean if you want tropical weather and beaches there are so many options like Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia. You guys are cartel hunting or what? What’s going on
Thank you for your wonderful and helpful video(s) Larissa ♥ I too am from Vancouver and eager to depart. You shared so many wonderful aspects: dear friends, healthy living and nutritious foods. And then some very big challenges: the 'manyana' might do my head in 😬 Having lived in Greece, I feel Mexico is very culturally similar, It was so easy to make friends and feel close to others, yet the politics of day to day life were tough! You are such an inspiration, thank you for sharing your life with us 🌟♥
As for driving in Puerto Vallarta.... overall I have never seen such courteous drivers - especially compared to the U.S. Rarely do I hear a horn hook. Almost without exception drivers give way to each other and pedestrians and animals. Very gracious drivers.
@@alanacollins5685 oh, you should try driving in Vietnam either HCMC or Hanoi! Mexico has nothing on what is like to drive there, Vietnam has one of the highest percentage of vehicle, death rates in any country in the world.
I agree with you completely, but the main things I dislike are neglected animals (PV less than rest of Mx) and trash. However, in Nuevo we are pretty shielded from that. But like you, those reasons aren't going to deter me from where my heart feels happier than anywhere I've ever been. Hi Larissa! 🌴😘🏄
Thanks for this video Larissa. I really appreciate your honest options and great content. I was hoping you’d touch upon the exponential increase in tourism especially right in PV. The crowds and traffic was overwhelming last year. Perhaps Nuevo is quieter and you haven’t noticed as much?
Yes, it is busy in the city and traffic is heavy in high season. this aspect doesn’t bother me much as I am very early morning person so if I go somewhere I do it before traffic hours . But your right PV is a popular place for tourists to come .
Thanks, for the insightful comments and very informative video. Indeed PVR is awesome in many ways. This is a little gem of place. I'm so glad you found your Shangri-la in PVR
I have to respectfully disagree with your comment about November being the hottest month of the entire year. It was the hottest November yes. But in no way was it hotter than August September and October. (I’m also a permanent resident)
Probably because it was way too hot 🥵 during summer and no relief in November I felt that November was the hottest month of the year. Thank you for your comment!
Friends, let me know in the comments what do you think of Puerto Vallarta?

Unfortunately I can’t say the same :(((
I agree with Larissa on the driving. It is crazy and there really are no rules. You have to be hyper aware every second

May I book your condo for the summer cause I love the heat!😊
I agree with you regarding the laid back attitude in PV. Dealing with it with my presale condo... Agh...
