I lost my Mom recently and prayed if she could send me some kind of sign the next day that she could still hear me. I woke up to this beautiful song after mid-night, I immediately begin to sob. My Moms name is Ruby, this wasn’t a random coincidence, she can still hear me and the message weaved in your lyrics is profoundly touching and lovely.....put down your mind, light up and shine...she wants me to leave the painful past and live. Ruby is finally happy and free! Thank you!!

I had to laugh at the fact that even with the clip mentioning "Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires and members of My Morning Jacket" as part of the backup band for this performance I immediately tuned all of them out and was like...HOLY S**T WILL JOHNSON IS F**KING PLAYING DRUMS AGAIN haha

Strands of Oaks .. damn I remember the good old days of seeing him play in Scranton in the late 90s at small
Shows with Lou from Lewis And Clark. Glad to see kept doing music.. if my memory is still good, I believe he moved to Philly.
