Purple is a FABULOUS color for you Margaret. The beads are gorgeous. I’m green with envy. I have started putting on makeup every day. I am wearing my work clothes, too. I feel better than when just wearing t-shirts & jeans every day. I also make a cup of hot tea in the early evening and go over the days events in my mind. It’s calming and I love tea.
I find wearing makeup every day and picking something nice to wear makes me feel ready for anything. And of course a spritz my favorite cologne. Love your videos! Thank you 🥰

I love the idea of making a list for the day. Sometimes there isn't much to put on that list so I'll enjoy a movie or look for a series to watch. If that voice comes in my head mentioning the "lazy" word, I just remind myself how hard I've worked to get here. I raised 4 kids, 2 of which have disabilities, went through a divorce, married again, cancer, on and on. It's okay to do nothing sometimes!!
I lost my husband a few months ago and was feeling lost thankfully I found you I can't begin to say how much you' have helped me. Life can good again. You've helped me see the beauty in the world

Hello Margaret! I set my alarm, get up early and get dressed, do some Tai Chi and greet a family member who always drops in and visits for two minutes on his way to work. This is a good start to my day. I have a loooooong breakfast (never could do this when getting ready for work), read the paper and watch some inspirational videos, such as yours. Put on makeup and wear what’s comfortable. Onward!

After my Son left for college 10 years ago and I was left to live alone, it did take a bit of adjustment. However, I must say that I truly loved living alone for 5 years. I still look back and cherish those days. Now, for the last 5 years I live with my Daughter and her family. Most days are fun and enjoyable and I feel blessed to be here. Some days are a challenge for all us living in different generations. Those are the days that I try to add something to my day to make it special and more positive. I love your suggestion about choosing something special from my closet. I am going to try that! I have so many "special" things in my wardrobe but usually just wear the same old comfortable clothes. Having a Plan--I keep a written list, in my phone, of all those not so fun things I need to do. I don't tend to it everyday but, when I am able to cross it off my list I feel so satisfied and happy. I agree that choosing an achievable goal for each day is a great idea. Everyday I work on"drink more" and my drink of choice is lemon water. Many days I am so busy that I forget to drink my water. I think I will put an alert in my phone to remind me periodically to drink water....thanks for the idea! Thank you so much, Margaret!

So often I feel as if I’m a boat with no anchor - in other words feeling lost. I’m 71 years now and retired. I’ve done things that I used to enjoy but no longer seems all that special. I moved where I live now when I was 60 but don’t have any friends to do things with such as getting together to have coffee or such. I joined a senior center and made friends but only when I see them at the senior center. (I don’t have a senior center in my town so I drive to the nearest one which is 10 miles away.). . . Sorry I didn’t mean to go on about this.

I am in the United States in Tennessee and the temperature has finally cooled off. 🎉 I am going to go outside and mend my irrigation drip lines that I've wanted to do all summer but it's been so humid.
My Son and his family moved to middle Tennessee last year. He told me how hot and humid it can get there during the Summer. I visited them this past April and the weather was lovely. I fell in love with all the GREEN!

Yes, I am a list maker. I have items scribbled all over pieces of paper that provide me with options of tasks, activities, suggestions for the next day. Goes into my subconscious that way, because amazingly, if I don't look at the list in the morning, I find when I do look at it later in the day, I've somehow accomplished some of the items without even looking at the list. There definitely is something powerful about writing things down!
