This is my first 6 inch Marvel Legends Thor figure and I couldn't be happier. It's a phenomenal piece 😍 However, I didn't know his head can go that far up! Thanks for the "head's up!" *Rimshot*
The only way I can figure the head could turn , is if in the future they could engineer hair pieces that have ball joint hidden in the scalpe under the helmet. They could slightly lift up and move out of the way.
I'm a collector of 4 inch scale action figures like Marvel Universe and G.I. Joe and I already have the MU Modern Thor but seeing this makes me want to get the MU Classic Thor as well.
This figure is straight up amazing, just like the Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, and Colossus/Juggernaut 2 pack. One of my favorite Legends ever! Great review as usual.

I don't know in anyone in the comments section mentioned the shoulder handle is apart of Norse mythology. Loki got in the ear of the person who made the hammer and had them make the handle short so it would be hard for Thor to hold it. Thor had a pair of magic imbued gloves that would help him hold on to Mjolnir because of the short handle.
I pre-ordered this dude a few months ago this year,and he's coming in quick,good thing I did to,since he's an older figure and impossible to find anymore
I picked up night crawler, iron man and THOR at my ThinkGeek store. And i have to say HULK and THOR are in my number one slot for best MARVEL Legends this year. And yeah on mine one wing is lower than the other and the handel was glued in not strait, i think the disks look ok so paint is ok. So this was somthing the put love in and it shows.
When they announced this I got way more excited for it than I have for any legend before it. And man, the hype did not disappoint!! This is my favorite Classic Thor, and I think I like it more than the Select Thor that had the spinning accessory. I want to get a second one to paint the circles blue and customize the hammer to make the handle longer for a First Appearance style Thor. I LOVE THIS THOR SO MUCH!!
I saw this Thor toy at my local Target today, but I never got a chance to pick it up because I was to busy picking up personal items. I keep asking myself, “What’s more important to pick up at a store ? Toys or Personal items?”
I have this figure, and it's great visually, but it's really hard to get him to stand. The cape makes him too back heavy, and it isn't quite long enough to act as a support.
I already bought it but I still don't have it, I have to import every action figure I collect from USA or Asia and besides waiting extra it also means paying extra... I will have mine when all of you are tiered from yours and I payed twice as much. I also earn a lot less then most Americans do, I get in a month what most USA citizens get in a week and I have a master's degree, even though at the moment I'm not working in my professional field. It's very hard to be a Portuguese action figure collector but I love it all the same, I will eventually get my 80th Thor action figure and I will most definitively love to have it to. Picked mine up last night at Target, he’s one of the best Thor figures I’ve ever bought. I have the Iron Man figure as well, now I just to find the Cap figure, stupid Wal-Mart.
I really like this Thor it was my Birthday gift to myself, although I did have to mod him I made a new cape out of cloth and put bendy wire in it , then thinned out his hair and cut it along the sides to make it bend and flex more, and lastly I made the handle to the hammer longer. After all that he's now my favorite Thor.
Personally, I feel that an Innovative thing to do would be to run a pin through the length of Thor's hair, to make it adjustable. The lack of proper head movement still bugs me, but I love the hammer and the sculpt is awesome.

The cape was the only thing giving me problems with this figure. I ordered a cloth cape and will remove the plastic one by heating it up, then glue in the cloth one.

Can you also put the head sculpt of the Marvel Legends MCU thanos and hulk to your marvel select modern thanos and the classic 80th anniversary hulk with pipe
I can't speak for TDW/AoU Thor, I haven't tried that swap yet. I haven't done the Stark one either, but the Hulk's skin tones won't matchup, and the Thanos' have different size heads, so that won't work.
It’s so telling that you have to use marvel select accessories for your marvel legends. Hasbro goes out of their way to give you less for your dollar. This just dropped to $15 on Amazon.
