If he plays in stadiums like metallica he better use that watering can
Stadia.
Kick ass my man! I just played in front of the dogs and they were summarily unimpressed.
Everyone's a critic.🙄
TRY greyhounds! They usually join in!
@@DMSProduktions GreyHounds are awesome pups! A friend of mine a few years back, maybe more, was part of a racing retirement and rescue network. Tons of fun to play with and great with families!
We have a female Pitbull Mix and a male Great Dane/ St. Bernard/Mastiff mix. My constant companions, my best friends.
They just "get me". They absolutely adore my toddler daughter, my wonderful wife, and me. Always by my side. Loyal without question.
But they could not be any less indifferent and aloof about guitars and the associated activities.
No GAS support from them!
@@joeyvanostrand3655 Bugger. Well we all need our hounds!
Yeah, we have the GAP program here and it's been really successful in rehoming discarded, failed, or retired greys, that would otherwise end up on the end of the blue needle!
You have the hair of a goddess, sir, and I salute you for it.
The feeling when both the audience and the band have been looking forward to the gig is hard to beat.
Love how happy you looked after the second gig. What a great feeling.
wide KDH isnt real he cant hurt you
wide kdh: 11:23
I really enjoyed seeing your world. Thank you for sharing this practical perspective of real world gigging.
I like how you can improvise on the fly and change up the plan to make the best out of the situation.
This attitude is the key to playing a great gig.
How beautiful is your home town! I imagined you living in a apartment in some boho suburb surrounded by converted warehouses and old smokestacks deep in the valleys of suburbia.
A little off topic but...Dublin looks like a beautiful city...loved the scenic shots...great video KDH...rock on my brother!!!!
Dublin is amazing- everyone should spend a month there! At least!!
It used to be.
@@barryb90 i found it totally cool- except for the construction traffic everywhere….
Dublin looks great! Makes me so happy to see a band performing and an audience in attendance without all the trappings of the virus. Thanks for sharing!
What about the othet people the are trapped. This is bullshit
Its not that great
@@leemurphy6581 "trappings" is a term meaning association or connotations. To be so closely associated that the thing and its association are "trapped together." Not meaning that the virus literally has people trapped.
@@12ealDealOfficial Some people are like BOTS:LITTERALIST!
@@12ealDealOfficial It's the various governments that have people trapped while they all go out living their own lives with their families. I'm so glad they and their families will be on the losing end of all of this.
Playing my first gig on Friday. This couldn’t have come at a better time, thanks!
Good luck buddy! 🤞🙂
Great to see and hear you guys playing live again. Great playing and killer hairflips! Rock on man.
Been watching all your shit back lately, love seeing people play live!
Please do an episode on heavy metal haircare 🤘 You're more than qualified
You guys sounded great! Oh how I miss live shows of any kind.
Performing after a long lockdown is just fucking amazing.
I have WET dreams about this!
Would you ever say that you could be over prepared for a live gig? or like taking ''too much'' equipment, like I have played live and it was straight into a head and cab with no effects or so just loud enough for everyone (including against drums) and to be heard by everyone in the viewing area.
Gotta always have back up SD cards. Let that be a lesson lol
Syke's version of Thunder and Lightning. Class
Great job! I feel really bad for artists and musicians since this whole mess started. I love live shows, but it's been over two years since I saw my last two shows, UFO and Last In Line. I did buy an awesome charcoal grill/smoker shortly after the pandemic started, and now an expert. Every day I go to work, I announce to my co-workers, " TIME TO ROCK & ROLL!
God damn those pentatonic chops were on point 🔥 you weren't just tooting your own horn there
My buddy wants to get together and start jamming and starting a band. I’m super excited!
I love your content Brother. I miss playing live but it's because I'm 56 and I don't have a band any longer, lol. But I enjoyed you enjoying playing. It's infectious
I like your band mate. “You should like and subscribe!” Great playing!
I have that exact scooter but in white
That white sweater is EPIC !!
You weren't lying,licks were on point🤘👍
I really loved the sound. It reminded me of Motley Crue and Van Halen as well. Tasty licks. I was wondering what brand of guitar you used in the 2nd show. My eyesight is piss poor.
Thank you, it’s an Ormsby SX 10th anniversary gtr.
The first video I ever made was a review of it.

Thanks for the link, I have something to watch on my lunch break now. And the pentatonics we're on point! Sounded great even through a phone. Good job
that is some 80s tribute rock-metal band... thought that music died in the mid 90s
'80s metal is going through a resurgence you even hear it on the radio and it was never played back when it was new on the radio anyways. That motley Crue song was off their very first album believe it or not.
@@MrJam1001 Yeah, I know... I was being cheeky. Even in pop music nowadays there is almost 1:1 resemblance of beats and sounds, such as the Weeknd. I did not catch up with that though, as I am more of a grunge alt nu metal guy and death metal crazy shit.
Please come to Canada one day with your band so I can see the mighty W.A.L.K.E.R live!
I would be there for sure!
Have seen you guys a couple of times supporting BB. Great show every time. Gutted I couldn't make this one. And yes, Bryan is phenomenal!
Dude i love these style videos from you
We all should like and subscribe
Really cool video
Goddamn dude your hair is long. Careful the headstock doesn't fall in love with it.
When the singer said like and subscribe I was convinced
I should like and subscribe
How did you get Jered Threatin in your band?!? 🤯
You didn't tell us you were supporting KISS!
I thought you were a reggae guy
Wow! Gigs!!! I remember gigs... or what that just a dream? (Non wet of course! )
Your singer REALLY looks like Rory! (May he RIP!)
would love more vlogs!!!!
I loved seeing how happy you were at the end of the show Nice work KDH 🤘
I didn't like and subscribe.
I subscribed and liked.
I've just moved in to Dublin, hope to see you in a gig soon 🤘🏻
OK, I subbed, what the heck. :D
Helix rack looked and sounded great.
Grand Socials around the corner from my job. Gutted I missed this.
That hoodie is sweet
Bruh don't get the hair.... especially round power tools 😈. Respect for the work. Great stuff.
I know that feel dude! We had our first gig for 2 years in august. Wasn't our best performance, but the crowd was very thankful anyways.. and very drunk(just like us). Next show is in december, i hope for a better performance but similar audience..
Wow ,Thats cool Mr KDH !!!
I like radical, shit, because i‘m a wreck of a human being. Still i like honesty, that‘s why i like this channel. I‘ll be honest, i wouldn‘t pay money for the sound of this band, but they are real andhu ble. And the channel is really honest and that‘s to be respected. I really liked the Chappers videos. Merry Satanas!
Does the counterfeit Ibanez Gibson body shape sound good? I’d be playing that as much as possible if it does. That’s hilarious since you mentioned it in the Dean video
I'm interested in making videos. Is it weird setting up a camera, so you can walk away from it, then walk back up to it? Seems like this is a super important part of filming videos yourself. But I'm scared someone might run off with my camera.
It’s an unusual thing to do yeah, but it only takes a few seconds to set up a camera to do it.
It obviously depends on the area you’re filming in but most people won’t notice your camera set up.
Casey Neistat did this form of shooting in New York City every day for 3 years straight. He’s said he never had someone try and take his camera
@@KDH Thank you. I'm probably just making an excuse not to try something I've been thinking about doing.
Nice vlog, liked so much. Can you please do a video about The options you have for live gig??
Horns up from 🇲🇿🇲🇿 Mozambique 🇲🇿🇲🇿
Congrats on life getting back to some form of normalcy. It's been long overdue.
Is that a Jackson Dominion model in the background? Cheers.
2 days... 2 shows... Two hundred dollars (Pounds).
The good old days!
Greetings from Northern Ireland brother 🤘🤘
A scooter. Goddamnit. You're better than this!
Fun video
And no backing tracks! 😆 😊
Bray Wa? Jaysus I’d love a Henry & Rose now 😋
I thought that Fender amp sounded great.
Immense dude! Love your channel!
How about Texas Ranger?
To your point in one if your previous videos about using back tracks, if you don't use them, you have way more options for setup if there's not a lot of time for setup and sound check.
Brings back some happy memories of being in the grand social back in 2013
recognise a few heads there
Oh Fibbers, how I miss playing in you. It's a kip, but it's THE kip. Has J.C finally retired yet? He was meant to call it quits before the pandemic but I heard rumor that he wasn't gone just yet.
Do you live on bray head
Those Hot Rods are the shit.
Jesus that brought back memories - Vibe for Philo pre-vibe January 2013 at the Grand social... I love Dublin.
Glad your back
THAT HOODIE THO lol!
Happy for you guys!! Looks like you had a great time. Nothing beats feeling like you nailed it!! And straight through a Fender Valve amp!!! That's rock and roll! (Yes, Im a Fender amp honk😁 🎸🎶📣)
You are really my favourite guitar youtuber, I like ur style of making videos.
Only one rock club in Dublin??? One of the only towns to still have a tower records??? Say it isn’t so
6:01 Megadeth
I’m 8000 miles away and I’m ecstatic that you’re playing live again!
Rock the fuck on!!
hey dawg, just want to thank you for making that kahler vid, i bought one for the guitar project i’m working on and i’m very excited to see how t plays
I don't know how you or anyone does it. I cannot get on stage. I am literally crippled with fear and anxiety when I do it.
Like the shoe says...just do it
You're not the only one.
There are techniques that help, but you've got to get up there and ride the anxiety. Maybe you can't play well for the first couple of songs, then choose songs that are easy to play to get you started, until your fingers and voice come into control. Prepare. If you have rehearsed songs over and over then you can play them even when you don't feel like you can. Let your stress max out 45 minutes before you go on. Your adrenaline will make your muscles twitch until the excess adrenaline is burned off. After that you can ride ride the nerves and adrenaline under control. But you must have the desire to go out there, remember those who come to see you are not you enemies, they actually want you to do well, and will give you support even if you makes mistakes. FWIW
Do it then do it again. Crappy open mics
@@christianboddum8783 you're the first person to offer actual advice vs "drink some beers" like getting drunk and playing guitar will make you sound better lol. My nerves would make me play like shit then getting drunk? That would make it 10 times worse.
Bray!!
Home
your pentatonic riff 11:24. You need to do more cool stuff like that. I don't understand the F riff sounds cool but the rest of the songs is just your typical rock. I'm serious. For instance the opening riff for Thunder struck. Does that sound like F typical rock riff?? I love the solo riff but then nothing cool for like minutes on end. Level with me. F man.
What day was this video posted?
"November turd."
Hehehe.
This reminds me of the older Adam Neely videos. Such a chill down to earth vibe. I dig it.
Great Vid!
Bray seafront
Glad it was a fun return to the stage for you. Nice to see music making its live come back
Hate that nobody is talking about the absolute bull thats going on in this country and many others
Really enjoyed this vid! Congrats on the shows!
Ha, I used to use that Pat Short reference when sound checking
Love the "copier" hoody. That's some heavy shade.
Fuck, this is really making me wanna play live again.
I really wanted to see this show sadly was sick hope someday I can
Lad making me want to buy a scooter over here
cool video thanks for sharing
We had our first show since the lockdown in August. Truly great feeling to be in front of people again. Next one is in a couple weeks. I’m so glad you shared this experience. Especially the part where you were forced by circumstance to use the house amp. Even still, your tone was great and proves that the show must go on. We make due and rock anyway. If you know your tone, you can coax it out of anything. Looked like a great time!
Here’s a song from our first show back:

Awesome…Very cool KDH!
