Beautiful song. Love this. The humour, the heartwrenching story of forbidden love. ST's incredible acting. BallyK was my everything at 16 and spurred my own pilgrimage to Ireland and to the town itself. A magical series. Still watching in 2018 😊
Yes i completely agree. I own the first three series on dvd so i watch them virtually all the time, even now in 2019,. To this day i hate the way series 3 ended. Although if you look close enough there are a few discrepancies in those final two episodes that could lead us to a different conclusion

I always wanted to see Assumpta's face when he put her head on his shoulder, but unfortunately they always showed a very short closed caption when these two were very close to each other, like when on a watch at Brian's field- who pushed A's hair aside? Anyway, this was wonderful. Thanks.
Love this song. Been rewatching ballykissangel again recently. Still hate the way the third series ended however if you look careful there are a lot of discrepancies in the final two episodes of series three that could point to a different outcome. Its taken me all this time to notice them but they are there. First off where was Assumpta's van in the final episode of series three? it wasn't outside the pub even though it was the previous episode (which was meant to be the night before) so what happened to the van in that time?. Also why did Peter go to leave in his car earlier in the final episode but then left on foot? Was someone waiting for him outside BallyK too pick him up to start a new life? Maybe the only way Peter and Assumpta could be together was to fake her own death (as Leo wouldn't give her a divorce or an annulment. and the only other way out of a marriage. "till death do us part") Maybe P and A were that desperate they went to drastic measures. why else would Doc Ryan , a trained doctor with years and years of experience , tell Brendan to stop CPR on Assumpta BEFORE the ambulance turned up? As a trained first aider I was always taught that you never stop CPR until the ambulance arrives no matter how bad things look
