Leo is my 10th house and the last Venus retrograde in 2015, I quit a job, got a new job, quit that new job and got another one that I’ve been at for the last, almost 8 years. At the same time, I broke up with my partner of 4 years, we got back together, and broke up again. Venus rules my 7th and 12 houses. It was definitely the most literal interpretation of a Venus retrograde I’ve experienced yet!
Yep! :( From June to October, so including the shadow periods. I also checked and it was a 1st house profection year, so think that definitely makes a big difference!
similar to my story, also Leo 10h, in 2015 i completley errased my identity in the internet, deleted a fashion blog I had for 3 years and re routed my carrer or "life path" I always dreamed of. I was at college atm, so I quit fashion and left the city to work as a volunteer in Tulum, it was a whole identity crisis (Mars is in leo in my chart as well and it was a 9H profection year)

I have a Venus retrograde story. I don't regularly do this but I decided to try out a nudist weekend. Once I got there most of the people were elderly so I found myself in a pool with a lot of older people. Saturn rx in Pisces also plays a role it seems. Later in the night I went to the bar and joined the karaoke fun. All the performances were horrible, including mine, but we laughed and had fun overall.

I'm an Airies rising, 2015 was a series of living nightmares, listening to this has me certain of a few things, first I was thinking about getting a roommate but after seeing this, I refuse, because I don't need a repeat of 2015 roommates or even new friends. Secondly, the only good thing that happened in that time period is that a street cat adopted me and saved my life, he's still my guy. So far, his year, I rescued another street cat a couple of months ago and she's been a great addition to my housecat colony and she's been a healing presence. I'll try not to have a feeling of impending doom now since 2015 was so terrible and I turned 50 last month.

During the last retrograde, it was positioned in my first house and closely conjuncted my Chiron, marking a significant turning point in my life. My parents grew increasingly concerned about my well-being, and despite my father's aversion to travel, he decided to take our family on a road trip. In 2015 I reconnected with a person that I met in the past. Particularly in July 2015, we started dating, got into a long distance relationship with him and he is now my husband. We will start trying to get pregnant precisely this month, when Venus is again in Leo, 8 years later. Venus cycles are just something else 🤯

On the day Venus entered shadow my ex broke a no contact boundry after 3 years to reach out and wish me a happy birthday (June 18th). Whole house Venus retrograde is in my 4th house of family. About a month prior to my ex reaching out my husband and I decided to seperate. He was sleeping in our trailer in the drive way until June 22nd when he moved in with his uncle. My ex has always had syncronistic timing. I am a Taurus rising, my soon to be ex husband is a Scorpio rising. The eclipes in Taurus and other triggering transits wiped my marriage out. It was a long time coming, or at least in its last leg for a year.
As a Leo rising @ 19° with this Venus Rx through AC, I found Example 2 very helpful. I’m having similar types of feelings. The urge to pivot and do what brings my joy and what I’m actually proud of.
People tend to show up as transits in my life. I'm a natal Venus Rx in early Aquarius conjunct my Capricorn sun and late degree Libra rising (conjunct Saturn, Mars, and Pluto) and in the fall of 2018 I met an older man who was born on 10/05/54, the start date of the Venus Rx of that year. I felt as if he helped me regain my joie de vivre after ending an engagement. Incidentally I later discovered that my Scorpio ex fiance married his rebound during that transit on 11/11/2018. They are now divorcing...gotta love Muggles! Example #5 almost made me cry. As a late degree Capricorn sun on my IC dealing with Pluto I can relate.

I've had similar issues with housing happen during the Venus in Leo Rx as the first speaker. In 2008 I was suddenly evicted, I was subletting and my roommates weren't paying the rent. Then in 2015, my fiance and I got notice that our landlord was going to sell the townhome we were renting. I was also conceived during the 1983 retrograde, which I think definitely relates to housing. 😆And as a gay trans woman, I'm happy to hear that Venus retrograde in Leo are particularly pro queer. To tie this all into the current retrograde, my partner and I are moving to Italy in September. Needless to say, these retrogrades are always interesting and worth paying attention to. Love hearing people share stories. Leo is my 9th House and four days after Venus went retrograde in Leo in 2015 my great aunt died and I had to travel for the funeral. I was also taking courses for my professional designation during this time too. So 9th House matters we’re definitely centre stage during this time. So 5 days after Venus in Leo retrograde in 2023 I just learned my coworker died and he works in a different country than me.
Hah an ex just tried to reconnect with me & the transit chart of the moment had Venus on the descendant (conjunct my leo ascendant) This was a guy who I didn't get over for years, it took me up until recently to be fully over it and now I'm very much over it. I'm loving the awareness that has come from healing and the clear vision to see things for what they really are. Not gonna let a Venus retrograde allow me to regress into past delusions!

This Venus retrograde is moving through my 10th house. I got a promotion at work and got a botched hair cut. I bleached it to make it look like something but now it’s orange. I do have a newfound love for my job though 😂

Interesting to see that in the 6th example, Venus retrograde was in her 11th house (the friends wedding), but i could also mean a love affair from the partners perspective. So spot on!
I liked Chris' interpretation of Venus Rx in the Third House. From prior personal experience; this is a time of volatility concerning communication between a romantic crush possibly in a local community or workplace. Tread carefully if you are a Gem rising and have a romantic crush on someone in your daily routine. This is a period where you will grow as a person and have a deeper understanding of your personal relationships. Possibly a romantic crush will force you to disrupt your daily routine and travels. My advice is to do planetary Moon remedies and meditations.

My life has been a train wreck… While I’d like to say it’s because of some long list of intense transits it seems my choices just suck. I was born under a Venus Rx opposition of Chiron Rx. IDK the more I learn about astrology the more it seems maybe there are these cosmic extenuating circumstances at play and I’m not just a terrible human. During the 2018 Venus retrograde I pulled a thread that unraveled everything I held dear … by June of 2019 I was homeless and my wife and kids were gone. I’m still trying to make sense of it all. I have my eyes and heart wide open during this transit that I may finally grasp the reigns and steer the energy toward remediation. I pray anyone reading this is bathed in the healing light of the Divine and has a blessed month.
I know here in Arkansas whoever calls the police first and presses chargers first is usually considered the victim. Seeing as how she went to the hospital and probably didn't call the police first is why she got charged. But if she has papers from the hospital that show what time she came in versus the time they made the call to the police or versus the time of that police put on the report it might help her case.
I have been reviewing the Venus retrograde cycles in Leo and they sync up with a lot of intense moments in my life. Perhaps because I have a grouping of planets in Scorpio... so whenever Venus does a retrograde in Leo, it triggers all of my planets in Scorpio by a square relationship. It is truly eye-opening for me... particularly because my Natal Venus sits in Scorpio at 21 degrees retrograde.

Wow. As a natal Leo Venus in the 11th house, during the Rx in 2015 in Leo was when I got into my first committed relationship (that lasted 6 years and ended after the last Venus Rx in Capricorn) after some drama with friends. Curious to see if that plays out again this cycle.
I was born during the Venus Retrograde of 88- my first son was born shortly before the Venus Retrograde of 2007- and my second son was born shortly before the Venus Retrograde of 2015. I had an life changing abortion during the Venus in Leo transit of 2020.
OMG, I'm Libra rising too, Pluto has been squaring my natal pluto and it's been ROUGH. I'm sick of it. Since the square got close, I have been facing all the trauma in my life and working hard to heal from it. The Venus retrograde cycles seem to have precipitated this, as this all began with an affair the ex had (came to light at one of the retrograde cycles) and my not coping well. It started years of trauma therapy. And as I look back, I met him at a retrograde cycle, we married at one, the affairs (yeah... multiple affairs before I got wise) all came to light at these cycles. Crazy. Anyway, pluto, it seems, has been rooting through my family and not a single close, primary relationship has been untouched. I suppose it's for the best, but auch, has it been a painful and slow process...
Example #4 question. Is Venus enclosed in natal? Just not sure as Venus is earlier in zodiacal order but still has rays fall, by sextile, between Mars/ Saturn. Just thinking any themes of enclosure may* show in natives life, perhaps more apparently than for those without natal enclosure?
I have a good example. Met someone on a trip when venus was retrograde in capricorn in the year 2022 (january), we had casual sex but conected very well and kept contact. On the next venus retrograde of last year 2023 (Leo venus), he came to visit my country and we saw each other again. @@isshaelaingham9396 You also had a solar eclipse on your natal Sun-Venus at 6 Aqua on Jan 26 2009 & 1990. The Sun rules your 8H (finances, inheritance, investments, crisis). Venus rules your 5H (love, wealth, good fortune) and 10H (achievements, status/image, career). And Venus is probably protected by cazimi, so her condition is good (outcome should be as well). Sun bonified by Venus. The term they are in is great too (for wealth and education according to Valens). The 12th part they are located in is that of Aries (your 4H of parents, family, living situation, possessions). My life has been a train wreck… While I’d like to say it’s because of some long list of intense transits it seems my choices just suck.
I was born under a Venus Rx opposition of Chiron Rx.
IDK the more I learn about astrology the more it seems maybe there are these cosmic extenuating circumstances at play and I’m not just a terrible human.
During the 2018 Venus retrograde I pulled a thread that unraveled everything I held dear … by June of 2019 I was homeless and my wife and kids were gone.
I’m still trying to make sense of it all. I have my eyes and heart wide open during this transit that I may finally grasp the reigns and steer the energy toward remediation.

I know here in Arkansas whoever calls the police first and presses chargers first is usually considered the victim. Seeing as how she went to the hospital and probably didn't call the police first is why she got charged. But if she has papers from the hospital that show what time she came in versus the time they made the call to the police or versus the time of that police put on the report it might help her case.
Of course when I move out of Colorado is when I discover this gathering that happens 😭

I have been reviewing the Venus retrograde cycles in Leo and they sync up with a lot of intense moments in my life. Perhaps because I have a grouping of planets in Scorpio... so whenever Venus does a retrograde in Leo, it triggers all of my planets in Scorpio by a square relationship.
It is truly eye-opening for me... particularly because my Natal Venus sits in Scorpio at 21 degrees retrograde.

OMG, I'm Libra rising too, Pluto has been squaring my natal pluto and it's been ROUGH. I'm sick of it. Since the square got close, I have been facing all the trauma in my life and working hard to heal from it. The Venus retrograde cycles seem to have precipitated this, as this all began with an affair the ex had (came to light at one of the retrograde cycles) and my not coping well. It started years of trauma therapy. And as I look back, I met him at a retrograde cycle, we married at one, the affairs (yeah... multiple affairs before I got wise) all came to light at these cycles. Crazy. Anyway, pluto, it seems, has been rooting through my family and not a single close, primary relationship has been untouched. I suppose it's for the best, but auch, has it been a painful and slow process...

You are right! The actual release was in 2017 (which was the Aries/Pisces Rx--another prominent Rx cycle for me). However, I was aware of, and excited for the filming of the movie--which happened during the Rx in Leo 2015.
