A friend of mine passed away from Cancer August 20th 2015. I was listening to this album in hopes of it holding me together when it released August 21st. This song came up halfway through mowing the lawn. Lawn only got half mowed that day...
@@victorperry7864 a close friend of Dan's (the main guitar player) died of pancreatic cancer and my assumption says the surgery somehow went south, probably led to an unsuccessful recovery.
My best friend died from leukemia when he was 21 just after this album dropped and it was his favorite song on the album and I understood why at the time but it just hurt too much to think about losing him for me to listen to it more than once at the time and this song always breaks me when I hear it for that reason. I would give anything to sit down with him again and have long, pointless conversations about our favorite bands and songs and debating over who did what songs better. This song brings back a lot of those memories for me.
Oh man, I got goosebumps with that last part when the phone number was disconnected. When David sings, he SINGS! Such an amazing voice. How about "Prayers" by Good Charlotte from their Generation Rx album?
Thank you so much for reacting to this!! I recommend their song Legion Of Monsters. It's about their justified anger at the media for glorifying murderers.
Sorry my Ex-Hubby Died not wanting to walk truth even thought I was sick. But I faked it to keep him from meds! Heart breaks for so many we have lost in area off "Pipeline" think we lost over 60+ from small farming NC high school
disturbed has some very deep songs, inside the fire sounds awesome but the lyrics are pain filled, my child even more so. A reason to fight might be the deepest in my opinion though
One of their best songs, deep and dark and powerful. Big fan of yours, Billy! Made a change to comment! Oh, uh, and you should also check out Who, also by disturbed and on this same album. You do you, man!
The Chainsmokers Kelsea Ballerini This Feeling Kelsea Ballerini: Peter Pan Miranda Lambert: Gunpowder and Lead Lady Antebellum: I Run To You Toby Keith: Mockingbird Danielle Bradbery: Sway The Band Perry: If I Die Young Darius Rucker: Alright

The song is about Davids best friend who died, and the recorded message actually was his friends last message. :(

Another great song is My Child and Uninvited Guest
How has Billy not reacted yet to Down with the Sickness? That one's legend. (and for a victim of child abuse, the bridge is very painful for me)
4 years ago we buried my husband's "sister" aka BFF, on his birthday, days before her 35 birthday, this song always make me think of her.
