I was able to collect points for months and months without the ability to know how many I have, or spend them, it was just not working. However It just recently updated and is now working as intended. But.... I have 60,000 points saved up (from my family's orders, we live in a small town with no other options for fast food, don't judge me lol) and you can only use the points on 1 item per order. Even if I go with the 6,000 point item every time im there, im gaining points faster than i can spend them. Not a great system but obviously im on the extreme end and the every day person won't run into this.
I gotta spend $60 to get a sandwich free... Is dumb it would be nice if the prices for the sandwiches in points were the same for example if I wan a Bic Mac in real time it be about $4 for the sandwich give or take then they should be more leaned to make maybe the big Mac idk like 800 points instead of 6000 points! It's all a scam i gt 12,000 points now which means I have spent $120 already and the only sandwich options I can get in rewards is about 2 sandwiches and I spent all my points! A sandwich reward in points is $60 worth of spent dollars! The system doesn't work in the customers favor if you ask me... I want the previous rewards system back honestly

So I love the app...but my main problem with it is I'm now sitting on almost 21000 points because they only let you use either a deal or a reward. And only one reward at a time. And also the deals are always better than the rewards.
I got the app because they offered 10 free nuggets w order. I ordered through the app and said oh no you have to do the mobile app. I was also charged for the 10 nuggets to pay for myself. Not sure of the major malfunction is with you won't get your 10 nuggets even if you come back with those points (1500). Even with the code. I don't know if they are clueless, bate & switch & or both.
The app is so trash. Starbucks app works 10 times better. You have to give them your code verbally while in the drive thru. I should be able to have them scan a QR code from my phone when I pay at the drive thru. McDonalds sucks.
McDonalds app is not a very good one. Starbucks works much more easily and Tim Hortons though not the best app as it tends to log out. So McDonalds is a real downer here. Moreover they won’t accept card stickers for coffee and other hot drinks in August due to the app. The app is complicated and flawed so I will use Starbucks and Tim’s instead

I hate the rewards system. I’m at over 70,000 points. And twice now I’ve gone to McDonald’s made an order they’ve lost the order in the system I guess and tell me I have to pay. I’ve argued with them then walked out only to fine out I’ve been deducted points for an order I never got. I hate McDonalds I don’t want to ever go back.
That McDonalds location might not know how to do it right. I would try a different location. I’ve never had any issues with any of my point redemptions.
You need to go back make a better video on this app. I mean you need to go in depth, the ins and outs of this app. What you can do and what you can’t do?
Yeah my other phone was an Samsung S8+ and the screen was discolored already so needed a new phone. Got the iPhone on a deal and don’t like it. Can’t wait to get back to android.
iPhone 11. Just feels like a downgrade from the s8+ Many features missing. Less customizable Harder to toggle basic things like Bluetooth WiFi and location. FaceId doesn’t always work like with mask or sunglasses No Picture in Picture for UA-cam app Bulky phone, probably almost twice as thick as s8+ and heavier. Don’t like the notch or how notifications are set up. Can’t get use to the the keyboard. On Samsung I could type with my eyes closed. Here it often types the wrong letter. Don’t like apple maps. Those are some of the reasons. My Samsung phone was much easier to use. iPhone is more basic and harder to use. Feels like it’s 10 years behind Samsung. The only thing better is the camera quality. What kind of phone do you have?

That’s a lot of points! maybe they’ll make a solution for it one day. Would be nice if they let you redeem points for meals instead of single items.

There’s different items you can redeem the for. You have to go to the rewards section of the app and it has all the items there.
