I’ve got four free hot drinks cards, I’ve just found out they’re no longer valid. Cheers McDonald’s. Now it’s all done through the app or scan a QR code on the side of the cup. Scanned the QR code but it doesn’t add to my loyalty card. Cheers McDonald’s!!!

Me and my Nephew recently went to a mcdonalds near my place and only had kiosk and no person-person ordering, I was so mad that they changed it since my Nephew was incredibly hungry and add insult to injury there wasnt any transportation nearby so we had to walk. We left dissapointed and went to another Restaurant that actually had the damn person-person ordering.
I despise Mcdonalds for making this horrendous change, they should have let the kiosk and self ordering co-exist, why let a Good Thing DIE for Piece of Garbage Idea.

When I teach iOS development I like to use McDonalds mobile app as an example. This is the worst application I've ever seen, written by the most incompetent mobile engineers on the planet. Please never change or fix any bugs.

They've ruined their rewards system and just made it into a cash grab. Waaaayyy too complicated now. To the point of being unusable. Everyone should just uninstall this garbage ap and go to another restaurant instead.

The offers on the app are scams. So many times the restaurant claims that my order didn't go through, but I can't reorder through the app because I'm placed on a 15-minute cooldown, so I just have to pay full price for everything.
It's designed to get you to the store with false advertisements, but since they claim it's technical issues it's not legally false advertising.

Yeah so in order for customer to not bare the loss of loosing the deal in 3 minutes count down they will lock the deal buy more and pay more as the time will be runmimg out to avail the offer.

The app looks nothing like the one shown here, and it's very difficult to use. When I click "earn", it gives me a drive thru code....for what....I haven't even selected or ordered anything yet......why so difficult?
The app has been completely reworked since this video was made. If you are doing earn, that will only earn you points on your food for their rewards system. If you want to save money, you usually want to click rewards and deals at the bottom and look under deals. If you find a coupon you like, click on it and click use at restaurant, then use deal. Then give them that code and your deal should be applied to your order. The rewards work the same way, just make sure you give your reward code before you order.
yep i can confirm that you cannot scan your coffee cup from the app, crap. Come on McDonnalds pull your finger out and get it sort or i'm off to Burger King

Even tho it is more complicated. I find that with the app. My order is always exactly how I want it. I get deals and free food with points on my purchases. I don’t eat McDonald’s all the time. But definitely use the app now that I got it down. It’s faster and you save money. Because McDonald’s only keeps getting more and more expensive. Lol.

Greatest load of bollocks ever, the staff don’t even know how the app works. Is it so difficult to make an app that recognises when you are at a McDonald’s, or going through the drive thru? The good news is, they end up giving me free food because they can’t figure out how to redeem the points. 😊

This is literally the worst app ever. When you have to log on to Facebook to use the McDonald's app, it says you can't log into the app because of McDonald's stupidity I'm just going to another restaurant or just not using the crap McDonald's app. Please fire the guy that made this awful app.

Sry. Just came here to say I'll never forgive whoever approved of the mushroom-headed fungi/chikuwa looking mascot they gave this app when they had every opportunity to redesign Mr Macdonald to be a cute looking monopoly-esque mascot.

Wed all be better off of McDonald's closed up shop like so many others are doing now. They are nothing like they used to be & same w/Taco Smells Selection of mystery slop. I remember when all the meat & cheese was real & you could actually see that. Now their soft tacos look like egg rolls w/mystery slop in them.
