    look at james dean such a handsome man and I can't stop my eyes looking at him. He was the most handsome man of that era and good actor he was shy but good.
    I don't know how he is by nature but when I see him and think that he was too young when he died.....:( I'm a muslim and I don't hate anyone if they are hindu or American. Islam does not teach to hate anyone or say bad to others religion and Islam taught to love to respect and brotherhood in the whole world...

    SPOILERS for later scenes:
    Luz deserved what she got, torturing that poor animal. Spurs are *not* meant to be used that viciously, only for gentle nudges.
    I only wish the horse didn't have to die as well, but of course it's meant to be symbolic. Now Jordan and Leslie truly have to find their own way together, with no immediate tie to their previous lives.

    I think it's a bit of a false view (that many had) that James Dean was a "natural," an actor who merely tapped into mysterious impulses in his soul/makeup or stirred up childhood or adolescent memories to bring urgency or passion to a role. I perceive that that was not the real story. He was a meticulous, painstaking, dedicated professional (for one so young) and absorbed and spoke each and every line with solid conviction. In any of his scenes in any film it is evident that he was obsessively calculating in his every gesture, every wave of an arm or hand, every re-positioning of a hat, every rapid or dramatic change in facial expression... it was all supremely under control, and not what could be called spontaneous. That's the reason he was so compelling on the screen: having thoroughly done his homework on what made his character(s) comes to life he made it seem as though it was really him being spontaneous when in truth it was the result of relentless pondering of the role and countless personal rehearsals in front of a mirror so that when the cameras starting rolling he had already "wrapped it up" as far as making the character convincing. In every scene all of the other characters, with few exceptions, seem to be pushed into the background until the minute he exists the screen frame.

      I agree, that scene in Rebel Without a Cause where he is arguing with his parents at the stairs is one of the best acted scenes i've ever seen, he is so in the zone, focused, every movement feels so real, is impressive a 24 year old could act at that level.

    You can tell Luz really wanted to brake that beautiful black stallion as she grit her teeth and slapped those vicious pair of spurs into his flanks then the horse gave those loud neighs and galloped off uncontrollably with her. Poor War Winds must never have had spurs used on him and he was determined to buck Luz off his back but unfortunately she was too good a rider.

    • @buckroo8424
      @buckroo8424 3 роки тому +4

      James Dean idolized Montgomery Cliff and Marlon Brando! They were method actors way before James Dean! Dean would call Montgomery Cliff up as said in his biography. Monty just ignored him. Monty was in very serious car accident leaving a party attended by Elizabeth Taylor and she drove to the scene of the accident and held Monty’s head in her lap until help arrived. He survived and went on to only make very selected movies by Monty. Supposedly, Taylor loved Monty very much, but Monty was either gay or bi. Brando use to visit Monty on the movie set as he admired Monty. James Dean will always be eternal in most people’s mind as he died so young and made such a profound feeling on his audiences with “East of Eden”, “Giant “, and “Rebel Without a Cause “! RIP all three. Admittedly, Dean made such an impact on audiences as did Monty and Brando.
