I don't like the excuse people have for using temu and shien because "it's cheap." I don't have much money either but that's not worth it to me, it costs the workers (that term is questionable since they're so exploited) so much... I like this video and your cat ❤
The most important thing is to try to just reuse second hand or thrifted clothes and fabrics as opposed to buy new, i got some of my fav items literally from textile trash bins (like my lovely purple scarf). Buying from small businesses is still hard on the environment, still consumerist (because its still buying) and cost prohibitive, just less exploitative on workers, so the first thing to do is try to avoid buying new if possible, When it comes to food waste, especially if you have ADHD like me, make lists in a notebook that keep track of food spoil dates of the most high ethical/environmental impact foods, and set up an alarm or two. I also have to be extra careful to not forget food outside of the fridge when making it, it happened a lot of times in the past and made me very severely depressed.
d.i.y. has been and should always be a huge part of the punk rawk ethos , great vid stay strong for these of your generation alot of people your age might not realize that hot topic was an insult to punk . even in the 90's with all the "punk" there were more genuine and better bands in the underground .

it's also poisonous, they have such high levels of heavy metals in these clothes, you dont want that on your skin
