What is the rubber used for the repair? Is it just any other weatherstrip, like from e36 or e46 sedan?

I used the rubber for engine bay.... just trim a litel bit and glued with sikkafleg 391 black... use also a soap to smooth the surfaces....
And then leav in positions with scotch tape for 24h...
Where are two trims connected insert a pice of trim conectin strip to do the job....
