I'm going to read Anne's House of Dreams this month. At least I hope to! I've read once by Rachel Scott McDaniel and I didn't love it but that one sounds good.
I had the same experience with The Metropolitan Affair as you. I enjoyed it - gave it 4* - but the characters felt distant. Merriam-Webster defines staid as prim self-restraint. That really came through with Lauren, I think. However, I loved The Hudson Collection! 5* and a book hug! If you are interested in more titles by Jocelyn Green, I would also highly recommend Veiled in Smoke. It has so many layers, insights, and strong faith content. It's a meat and potatoes book.
Yes, staid is a great description. I’m glad to hear that about The Hudson Collection. I really want to read it. I do have the other series you mentioned but I’ve never read it. Need to get to it!
Walking on Hidden Wings ok! I'll have to check that one out! 😄
It’s AMAZING 🤩
Haha SAME😅😅
Oooo! Archeology and museum! Buzz words! I’ll wait to hear what you think! Ha! A second later I got my wish! 😅
Yes, they are buzz words for me too! 😂

I’m looking forward to the next one in the Anne Series. I haven’t read anything else by Rachel but I want to!
So weird about Poirot popping up! 😂
😂😂
Oh my!! Walking in Hidden Wings beginning sounds amazing! You talked me right into it. Is this a new-ish release?
Yes! It came out within the past month or so. It’s so good 😊
Loved your review of your favorite book! Very cute! 👏🏻📚Sounds like a good romance. 😍
Oh it’s so good! 😊
Hello! 👋🏻 I am wondering about how often to do the reading wrap ups too. You’ll have to let me know if you like this better than monthly.
I don’t like having to wait until the end of the month to talk about what I’ve read 😂..especially if it’s a fabulous book!
13:24 Hidden Wings you’ve sold me. I’ll be adding that to my tbr
Oh yes! It’s fabulous! 🥰
One of these days maybe I’ll get around to reading the Anne series. SO curious. Can you believe I’ve only read the 1st one?!
Oh wow! I started the series several years ago. This is my first read through of the whole series. I ADORE the 1980’s movie.
10:22 Agatha Christie, I haven’t heard about this one I’ll have to check it out. Hercule showed up late 😅😅😂😂💀
😂😂😂 he was late to the game
Hey girl hey 💜

Walking on Hidden Wings - well, ok then, on the impossibly long tbr list it goes. 🤣😭
The TBR just gets longer and longer 😂
@@bethanybringsbooks The books on my tbr list are like bunnies - every time I turn around, they've multiplied! Exponentially!!
