Javier Pacheco Doria - We need less influencers of image and body and more referencers of meaning

Javier’s first pilgrimage to Medjugorje was during the Youth Festival. He was greatly moved by many of the testimonies given in Medjugorje during that week. However a testimony that left the strongest impression on him was a story of a ‘guardian angel’, a former addict assigned to every newcomer to the community of Cenacolo. Inspired by this example of service and sacrifice, upon his return to Spain, Javier decided to donate a kidney to his brother-in-law who was severely ill. Together with a few of his friends Javier now organises a large online prayer community called Macrofiesta del Rosario.
