In his testimony for the Fruits of Medjugorje series, Fr Leon Pereira said that he dates his conversion to the 19th of November 1988, when he first heard about Medjugorje. During his first pilgrimage to Medjugorje a seed of a vocation was sown in his heart, however it wasn’t until he finished medical school that he decided to join the Dominican order. Fr Leon has been a chaplain for the English speaking pilgrims in Medjugorje since 2015. Listen to his testimony to find out how the messages of the Queen of Peace have changed his life.
The same applies to me, atheist. My conversion began, when one of my college, a Catholic, introduced to me the Apparitions of the Blessed Mother Mary at Medjugorje in 1989, through which I understood that God truly exists and I became a Catholic in 1990. Bless be God forever for His Infinite Goodness, Mercy and Love! Amen!

I am sorry for your son. I've been drinking for 20 years and am trying to abstain.
Oh, the Adoration there. I know the Lord is the same here as there, but still, I've never experienced it elsewhere. I still think of it sometimes. I was there once, on some impulse, not even knowing a lot about it (I do sometimes such things). Just a nominal Catholic then, my life with God was dead and stayed like that for a long time after that, it didn't change immediately... I saw no miracles. But lately I realized that God orchestrated my visit there, on Our Lady's intercession, to give me the grace when the time was right. And it finally came again through Mary when I was lead to a heartfelt consecration to her (again I wasn't preparing for it). I was not even fighting against my mortal sins at that point, so addicted and powerless I was and I was freed from that on that day. Thank you God and Mary.

Fr Leon lovely to listen to you. I hope you see my comment as i wish to thank you for your kindness towards my cousin James Browne during remaing time here. His mother and my father were siblings. James was very special and im sure you had many laughs together. I hope to go to Medjugorie soon.,for the first time.

I so agree with Father Pereira. I had beautiful moments in Medjugorje, but Adoration was so sublime, my heart felt as it was going to explode of all the love. I ask to the Lord, why in Medjugorje I could feel all this, I think the answer was: "here they honor me, love me with their lives, everyday, that it is why". Faith in Medjugorje is tangible. Even the kids go on their knees to and keep quite during Adoration, pray the rosary, go up and down the mountains. What a Paradise on Earth!!! All honor and glory to God forever and ever. We thank Him for allowing our Blessed Mother Mary to keep coming everyday. Thank you Father Pereira for your beautiful testimony, it is always very interesting how God and Virgin Mary call us to Medjugorje.

Every sincere person who prays the rosary will be blessed but no other visionaries in the history of the Church became MILLIONAIRES, the rest embraced poverty. Even worse, the Fransicans closest to the seers were defrocked and even excommunicated for sins against chastity and obedience! One fathered a child! They kidnapped and beat a bishop!

You are bearing false witness. That's a serious and potentially mortal sin.
You don't know the financial situation of the visionaries. A few of them run small hostels for guests and give talks to guests. They work hard and give up their privacy for the benefit of pilgrims. It's a hard life that they live. I couldn't do it.
The two Franciscan priests whom you refer to were not directly related to the events at all, they were not visionaries, they did not kidnap a bishop, they were not excommunicated. One was defrocked. Another left the priesthood and got married. Now what does that have to do with the events there? Nothing. There were many priests in the Franciscan order and you can't blame those things on the visionaries!!! People have free will.
