I own a 2000 FLSTC and still ride it after twenty years of ownership and love the bike. I like the "old school" look, it rides well and I will probably ride it until the day I die.

I agree, I do enjoy my 2 Indian's, but I've been looking at this one in the 2017, love the colour, waiting to take it out for a ride.

I have to mention this... I replaced my seat with a one-piece, full, seat and it eliminated most of that buffeting at high speeds. The one-piece seat sits about an inch lower, also lowering the center of gravity, making the bike much more manageable at low speeds. I really like it. The first thing I'd do is replace that factory seat. Now it's the pipes. 👌

What seat did you go with?

@@davidl8425I'm interested in that as well. My seat is also a little too high. Seeya

@@albertvainaa yes, I got a 2016, almost went for a 2017 model. DO NOT like what they did to the 2018 and beyond models. Just doesn't do it for me.

I bought a 2016 in that same color instead of a new 2024. 25k for a new one now. My 2016 only has 9k miles and mint condition and I paid 11,500 for it 👍. Plus the old version are better looking than the new ones

I have a 2002 FLSTC I like it but I wish it was an Evo. I have only had four speed Harley's for the last 45 years and I forget I have a fifth a gear in my 02 Softtail sometimes.

I have a black 97 Heritage and though it's a bit less comfortable and a lot less powerful than most of my previous bikes, I love it, and at 68 I guess it'll probably be my last one. Stay cool out there ya'll! Seeya! ☮✌

Wind hitting you, is not buffeting. Buffeting is the negative air pocket, behind some windshields, like what happens in a car, without two windows open.

I have a '17 Heritage. The cheap bags are collapsing already and it's not a year old. Had an '11 Heritage. No cruise but the bags held up for many miles of cross country riding. The new bags are thin, flimsy material. Wrote H-D customer service and got a call back today. Basically they said "suck it up Buttercup"...they even said the collapsing bags are a look they were trying to achieve??? Bags not under warranty. H-D will not replace or provide a kit to prevent this from happening. My next bike will Be an Indian after owning 5 H-D bikes since 2009. Not a real happy owner.

So I’m 13 and I want to go a Harley Davidson ASAP (when I’m able to), which in your opinion is the best? I love the heritage it is my favourite - i do also like the road king but I’m saving at the moment and don’t want to break the bank with anything over the top. Will the price go down on heritages in the next 3-5 years?

I'm sure you walked in with $20,000 cash.
Right. Maybe wrote a check or got a bank draft, but I'm sure you dint walk in and put cash on the table.

Snake Bite How do you know what excact amount they paid. Do you think its impossible that any person in the world doesnt have cash packed away?

    • @snakebite6511
      @snakebite6511 7 років тому

Im not saying its not possible, but its highly improbable he walked in with cash. Why would anybody walk around with cash when you can walk into a dealership, make the deal and walk into your bank and ask for a draft.
I never claimed to know the exact amount, but i know the prices of a "New" HD Heritage Softail and you will not pick up a new one for under $18k, so i rounded to $20k, sue me asshole!

Mini apes is a contradiction in terms......
Apes are apes. Anything shorter are extended bars. That would be like calling an extended cab pickup truck a mini crew cab. It’s either one or it isn’t.
