Linkin Park was a band that helped me through a lot during my upbringing. I had a deep appreciation for all the members, and Chester Bennington will always hold a special place in my heart-he’s simply irreplaceable. His passing in 2017 was devastating for me. Recently, I came across news that Emily has joined the band, and I watched their performance above. She has an incredible voice that adds a beautiful dimension to their songs. Personally, I’m grateful to see Linkin Park re-emerging. They’re a band that needs to continue sharing their music with the world, and Emily’s voice does justice to that legacy. Listening to her sing makes me reflect on Chester and the band's early days, and it’s comforting to know that these powerful songs can live on, carried into the future.
watching that 1hr interview with Apple after seeing this concert made me completely understand why they chose her. They weren't just looking for a "replacement" but someone who have the energy and spirit that our beleved Chester had. Emily did so well. Yall saved me from a lotta sht for years. Luuuv and homage, LP 🇵🇭🖤
I think Emily has the perfect balance of bringing her own sound and also paying homage to Chester’s immense legacy. Great to see the band performing together.

@@MichaelContreras-gr9ik chester was like Freddy mercury, one of a kind. Impossible to replace 100%. But the band wants continuity and if good OLD queen can do it, so can LP. New singer is very good and the music is great, far better then no music! You can keep listening to the old albums mate.

I was wondering how this was all going to work out, and of course I should have known Chester is never going to be replaced fully, but was not worried that you were going to come up with someone that could match Chester with Emily.
