I'm thinking of making separate videos for each of the modules I studied and go into more mathematical detail. If that's something you'd want to see, let me know :)

Yes it is! Any video with you talking about maths in detail would be greatly appreciated 😊

Dr Mithuna Yoganathan of Looking Glass Universe also graduated from Cambridge.
How about a collaboration with her?

Would be great if you added names of any reference books used by you to study these modules.

The long awaited video! I've been looking forward to this video ever since you started your masters at Cambridge lol. And whew, what a roller coaster ride it was. I love love love how excited you get when talking about maths. That was probably the highlight of the video for me 😊
Now the content itself, it was really interesting seeing in detail what the modules are about. It's easy to just go online and read the course outline, but hearing it from the perspective of someone who actually took the modules is always very exciting. I would love a breakdown of the maths you learned for your dissertation, it all seems so interesting.
Also, if it's not too much to ask, is it possible for you to do a more in-depth video on the non astro, specifically fluid dynamics modules you took. I know they were not your favourites but slow viscous flow, the environment and solid earth modules all sound interesting, I wouldn't mind a video on the specific kind of maths they entail. Especially how the environment module relates with your dissertation as well!
Honestly, I just want more videos on you talking about maths lol. Thank you so so much for this video. I'm a maths student myself so it's always very exciting seeing someone talk about the maths modules they took, especially someone as passionate about maths as you. Looking forward to your next video! 💚

Ellie, if you’re interested, talk to us about philosophy or literature. Yay! Thank you for helping me study better.

She is crazy about mathematics, graduated from one of the hardest universities in the world, in a field dominated by men. Yet you are interested about her opinion in philosophy and literature. I guess I missed something.

@@shamsshaikh2887well she already gives information about Maths. So no point asking for more of that. People can have multiple interests and it doesn't mean she won't also have interesting things to say in other areas. What's wrong with a viewer also wanting to hear that?

"... make sure I'm telling you things I'm *_allowed_* to tell you..."
What in the world does that mean?

Hey Ellie. I’m so pleased about your success. So far I’ve done 2 modules with the OU MSc maths program: Calculus of Variations and Nonlinear ODEs. I’ve also had my first contact with pure maths at university level and I was shocked at the difficulty. To address this I could take a final year u/grad course in complex analysis or do some real analysis leading to functional analysis. Alternatively I could resign myself to the fact that my maths is applied maths. I would be grateful for any thoughts.

Ellie I drop out of my math's course here in Nigeria. I want to focus on tech and learn math's on my own, I love math's and programming.

I'm asking something silly but, is there only maths in there or physics concepts are also there I'm bit confused obviously as it is astrophysics and all, physics must be there but is it possible to study this without soo much knowledge of physics

What do you think of the mathematical basis of M-theory? And it’s ability to describe reality?
