My dad who’s seen some pretty epic concerts before I was born and then gone to see the same artists with myself 30 years later isn’t really that vocal when it comes to expressing his emotions but after this show I overheard him telling someone how fantastic this show was in particular. I had a wry smile on my face when I heard him describing it to a guy in a record store! It must have affected him a lot for him to show that kinda emotion lol
Myself and my wife were treated by roger to a backstage meeting when help for heroes took a group of us badly injured soldiers to the wall concert in Manchester knowing his anti war views I hope him meeting us was helpful in his resolve to speak out against the war machine governments he was a nice man and seemed humbled meeting us
I had never heard this song before the night he played in my country. When the lead guitarist started playing the second solo I was shocked, but when he did the final solo, I was struck stupid for a minute and a half, I couldn’t believe the genius solo, so simple, yet so immensely powerful, it left me completely dumbfounded, when he finished the solo, it felt as though I had woken up from a dream.
Yah, it was up there for me as well. This version of Dogs was so unreal. I don't know that guitarist name but he really put the soul into that song and hit all the notes. It's hard to get the feel of the atmosphere from the show from a video. Also for me to hear stuff from Animals was great.
I was at this gig too and this is the first time I’ve watched anything from it since. I had high hopes (no PF pun intended) but it by far surpassed any expectation.
I've been going to gigs for 30 years and i've seen them all and it takes a lot to impress me but this night in Glasgow was unbelievable......one the very best i've ever seen

8:57 WTF ??? I closed my eyes, i opened my mouth. goosebumps, tears. Kilminster is a GENIUS!
I saw a T-shirt once that said "I may be Old but I saw the legendary original concert tours"..lol that I can say the same. I saw Pink Floyd perform the complete Animals back in '77 In the Flesh tour in Montreal, later in 2000 when Roger played side 1 with his band that had Jon Carin on vocals and Doyle Bramhall II on guitar. And recently, twice for this tour at Desert Trip 2016 and 2017 Us + Them tour in Quebec City. This one is excellent but the best was of course in 1977. This tour had Dave Kilminster on guitar who was great but the vocals I agree were better by Jon Carin. I would love to see Us + Them film released on Blue Ray, loyal fans deserve it.
I think this was a way better show than This is Not a Drill - also a phenomenal show - but this was better. I was blessed to see it twice, 2 nights n a row in 2 different cities
Yeah, I saw Pink Floyd do this on their "Animals/Wish You Were Here" tour at Stafford New Bingley Hall in 1977, aged all of 18, and tripping out of my box on Yellow Barrel acid! They played all of "Animals" first, then all of "Wish You Were Here" and finished off with "Money". It might have been the first tour where they used that huge circular screen behind them and the Gerald Scarfe animations, same goes for the flying pig. That thing was dangerous! It flew over the main area low enough to be hit by missiles from the crowd! And they pelted it with all sorts....cans and fag packets mostly. Thank fuck they never had beer glasses or there would've been more than a few serious injuries! And all for £3.50! An amazing gig but the venue sucked. It was a cattle market normally, and it showed. It had this horrible rope-like shit on the floor in front of the stage where we were, you couldn't sit or stand on it for any length of time it was so uncomfortable, but fuck it, it's Floyd, and you're only 18 so you'll put up with anything! The venues back then we're all shitholes compared to today. The Glasgow Apollo was one of the biggest dumps I've ever been in, but I saw some astounding gigs there in the 70's! Ah, if only they'd invent a time machine!! A real shit recording of it is on YT, but the whole gig is there and it's reasonable enough. If I can find it I'll leave a link.
Pour avoir vu plusieurs fois les Pink Floyd sans Roger Waters et Roger Waters, les concerts de Gilmour, Wright et Mason sont de loin beaucoup plus intéressants musicalement.
Wot the .how the hell did they achieve that. I used to play dogs at home as a teenager Our dog Robbie( Bless him ) a westie that loved his tea .used to howl on a certain part.rekon Floyd but in an inaudible to us bit
Golan Ziv ... I had to check out your taste in music thinking “what exciting concerts must this guy like if he thinks Waters / Floyd is boring?” And I am still pissing myself laughing at how many fuckin MADONNA shit you like 😂😂😂 get a life ya numpty !!!!
Golan Ziv .... Why did you edit out he was a nazi ha ha!! Maybe if he jumped out wearing a pointed bra shouting I'm a virgin then you'd love it ya pink sausage !!
your comment is full of hate and ignorance. and this is what Roger Waters is representing. Hate. Lies. Ignorance. go listen to that old bastard, anyways he doesn't have much time to live

I like the part where the people don't talk over the music.
the bloke that said boring, should have gone to wotch Millicen n Nesbitt,
John Carin nos vocais por favor. O som ficou maravilhoso, mas essa música não combina com esse vocal agudo.
This vocal... :(
