I agree that it is strong, overpowering, I wouldn’t wear it every day, just for certain mood.
Am actually wearing it today, just put it on after lunch. It isn't as strong and overpowering as I thought. I guess when I bought it there was a heatwave all over Europe and this just didn't fit the season.
Quality Misalla is a legendary store for perfume lovers ❤ the one in Marriott has been there my whole life! I remember going there with my mom and now I shop there myself. I know the attention from the staff can be a bit overwhelming, but they are really helpful and friendly. I love that place 😊 I also got recommended Overture there and I'm definitely going to buy it one day
I think they were friendly, but it disturbed me a little that I was not allowed to spray the perfumes myself. I appreciate good service, but also like my freedom when perfume shopping.
I did the exact same thing in les senteurs in Paris in the summer. A brief hour on my own and bought a progumum Roma which lasts five minutes. Believe it or not. 🤦🏽♀️
I've been to that Polish shop, and was a bit overwhelmed by the attention and service there. I think I'm too shy to be able to handle that. Anyway, I bought two bottles there: M Micallef Mon parfum (fail) and MFK APOM (success). I love my Amouages ❤

I had a decant of Mon Parfum Cristalle from Micaleff and found that one way too sweet. Have also had a mini of Ylang in Gold, but there was something disturbing in that one. I think I kept getting a nail polish remover kind of vibe. Just a little but enough to annoy me. Well congratulations to Apom. Will try that again, they sell it here in Stockholm.

Well, shouldn’t have bought this one. I find that decants are almost always enough when it comes to Amouage. They are not easy grabs, they are layered and interesting and quite heavy. Reflection Man is an easy wear and so is Meander and a couple more maybe. But Ubar, Journey Woman, Overture Woman, Epic Woman, Memoir Woman, Interlude Man and more are seldom type of wears to me. Just swapped a bottle of Journey Woman and I think I might actually wear that more than once a year. Also own Honour Woman which is quite easy to wear but have still only worn it like 4 times. That is the difficult part of having a big collection. There is too little time to wear all of the fragrances!
Journey woman to the moon and adult I am is it all right I come on a mans face and the French royals are everything to me and I have a good life and see yourself and where's herschel and how we had the puleos my adopted family and in Ozone pizza and I think moonbeam pizza and I could less than every 2 weeks.
Good point on spraying too, it's part of what you buy. The quality of the atomisers differs from brand to brand and also the act of applying is part of the joy.
I was really debating getting a bottle of Amouage Overture Woman. I absolutely fell in love with it and managed to get three 2 ml testers of it, so I'll use those up in the fall/winter and see if it's bottle-worthy. Maybe the three testers are enough for me for now. But it's a powerful scent, best used only when it's cold out. I can see it being amazing and piercing through the cold.
Love 1957! But some expensive fragrances turn out to be worth it. Dhajala by Xerjoff is one example. Another is Oud Satin Mood! I wore that last night on a date and it is just incredible! Even though I use it seldom, I enjoy having a bottle. I have decanted like half of it.

Can you ( MRS. kiki , i'm i right ??? ^__^ ) recommend woman perfume that a mature man ( age 40-65 ) can wear. My journey come from "A recommendation for men and women from the designer world: Bottega Veneta from Bottega Veneta" . It's just only 1 in 100 videos that has a word " man " . So i decide to watch and try bottega and happy with it. This make me interest in another woman perfume that may be a mature man can wear. Now i'm interseting in shalimar and ysl libre and some chanel ( if you can guide me a lot of chanel perfumes, this will be graced to me so much ) because many fragrantiga's members agree that a man can wear these. But with the ages, i quite believe in your taste & experience more than frag.'s info. Thanks so much.
I think Overture would be perfect on a man. Metallique from Tom Ford is beautiful on men, have actually smelled it on several mature men, one of the is Kuwait's ambassador here in Sweden. I spell my nickname Kicki, but am not sensitive about it. Yes, I believe I am still a "Mrs" even though my husband passed away 6 years ago.

It is really nice but heavy and difficult to wear, I think. Overture Woman, I mean. Epic is slightly easier to wear but not a perfume I reach for often.
I love both Epic and Overture woman but I love Memoir woman more. But of course always wear the man ones. Epic Man spray it at clothes and neck while epic woman I spray it at my hand. The best combination. The combination of both man and woman in the same like is one of the best smell.
Overture Woman is number 1 on my wish list right now. I really want this one.

Is overture woman for sale ?
I was really debating getting a bottle of Amouage Overture Woman. My funeller won't let me get off but tons of men go down on me each night and I need executive and I dress up in old men's stilts.

I rarely wear my strong fragrances too. I do like them, but I don't seem to wear them...
That is a reminder to hold onto our money when sniffing stronger fragrances. The ones that actually get worn are the successful purchases.

I have full bottles of both Overture Woman and Epic Woman and I love both of them. My 17 year old son also wears and loves Overture Woman.
