I ordered a bunch of Amouage samples at Jovoy parfums rares. Jubilation woman IS quite close to my old Mitsouko , Memoir woman is superb, but Overture woman gave me tachychardy😉A Big investment for my collection worth the money ( and on sale at allbeauty). No bleach smell for me fortunately, received it today I'm gonna check😅
I love all three that you mentioned ....and Overture Woman and memoir woman are on my Amouage full bottle wish list

It is a truly amazing fragrance, i tried this lots of times and i love it! For me, Overture Man is still above this by a little, but Overture Woman is very close. Also, i heard that Annick Menardo is doing the new Lalique Encre Indigo and that should be interesting!

Having reconciled with the brand's direction change, and since scouring all the sites for all the Men's older bottles which I previously passed on (or even sold!), I've since delved into the woman's line including only the Epics (I prefer the orig., am inclined to pick up), and Portrayal which I'm smitten with, but wish more so on a female partner. So I'm quite pleased to see more of this line continuing to be discussed on this here fine channel. Aaaand this one I'll be watching out for now. Thank you, Ram 🙏

when scentifrugal force gave praise to this one and put it as his no.1 amouage, really convinced me to get a sample. have to get a bunch of amouage samples, especially this, beach hut man and gold man.

As I understand it, the fish man wasn’t allowed any mods of the scent from Annick Ménardo. She said ‘it’s this scent - take it or leave it’. That’s why she’s one of the best. Lovely perfume - Great review 🐏

Hello Ramsey, new subscriber here. I have discovered you via Eugen's YT channel. Amouage Overture Woman is my 1st full bottle Amouage fragrance. I paid full price for it (345€) without a flinch and I rarely spend that amount of money on a bottle. I live in Paris and one day I visited Jovoy's. I tried Amouage's Guidance in order to know what all the hype was about. I was not impressed. Then one of the male SA who always remembers me and seems to know well my tastes (we seem to have similar tastes) had me try Overture Woman. He told me it was a beautiful and complex scent. I tried Overture Woman and I was like wtf is this. This is one of the most addictive fragrances I own. At times I just smell the cap to get a whiff of that fragrance. It is potent but refined enough. It is not in your face as many Arab style fragrances. I thought that there was some Oud in it too and I had to double check when looking at the Fragrantica listed notes. This fragrance is so underrated but I think that somehow the high price does not help : in Europe hardly no discounter offer this beauty and in the USA, I think only Jomashop has been offering Overture Woman at a discounted price for a couple of months. It is currently $164.89 on their website

Overture W reminds of Safari Extreme, whaaat????? I do have a sample of that ASQ somewhere and I have smelled Overture W a few times in the store, I would never compare them. I shall smell it again I suppose %)

Can't get along with this one myself, there's a real backbone of sythetics (I think Ambroxan) that gets on my nerves in this. I like Overture Man though.

I have more experience with Overture Man but I want a bottle of Overture Woman one day
I get the same Calvados accord in OW, Promise and Starry Nights but only OW keeps boozy all wear long. They are going in completely different directions but if I wear one I keep thinking the other two. I own a couple Amouage plus at least a dozen deacants, my favourite is still Epic Woman.

I think to be honest they've always been gender neutral...even though my favorites are overtly masculine. I don't say that because I love some that are called "man" but feel feminine, I say that because I've had women many times tell me they would wear different amouages i had on. even something like bracken man has had one woman tell me they would wear it, which pretty much blew my mind because I consider it masculine as all hell.
p.s. i remember that smell too haha of the shoe stores
