Starting in Mt. Hood, Oregon, this 197-mile course is split into 36 segments for 12 runners.

Leg 2 - Jennifer
I was so tired, I didn't meet her at Exchange 2 when she handed off to Paul
Leg 3 - Paul
Paul came in 3 minutes early to get us back on track on the spreadsheet
I got bad footage with my phone, but good footage with my Insta360
Leg 4 - Herna
It was hot made only worse with the heat reflecting off the asphalt
Exchange 4 - Herna took off her shirt (due to the heat) which confused Jordan as he was looking for her shirt color.
Leg 5 - Jordan ran fast, as expected.
Exchange 5 - We had to U-turn twice to get to Exchange 5. Specific instructions to stay in the vehicle which we thought meant all of us had to stay in the vehicle leaving Jordan to his own devices to find us. Barrie hands off to Jordan without giving him any instructions and Jordan calls Paul on his phone to find us.
Barrie drove from Exchange 4 to 5. He jumps out of the car to get ready to run and then the line of cars starts moving forward. I jump in the driver's seat to move the car. Barrie who is outside of the vehicle has to jump into the passenger seat.
Leg 6 -Barrie
Exchange 6 - Major Exchange
Van 1 and Van 2 are in 2 separate parking lots.
The original plan was to park next to each other to hand off bibs and shirts.
I buy an acai bowl from a food truck vendor in the parking lot
Barrie hands off to Katie
Legs 7-12
We head toward Portland and stop at the Firehouse Subs along the way (near Gresham) to get dinner and refill our water bottles
We get to the Motel 6 near Exchange 12 to shower and rest.
We get room 101, right next to the office.
We shower, rest and get to Exchange 12.
The sun sets.
Exchange 12 - I hand over the room key and parking pass to Van 2.
