@@roddiener Jackie is a great singer/entertainer, but never quite achieved superstar status, she still has that opera type voice, while Angelina has the most beautiful voice i have ever heard, and I am 76 years old. She has the keys to your heart, and you just love her as if she were your own flesh and blood.
@@leebrn8588 Unfortunately for us live shows, concerts, appearances have been on hold for the last 6-7 months. Jackie's 20 now and trying to transition to an adult entertainer, her last album consisted of Broadway tunes and was absolutely terrific, with performances in New York, she has several videos out that are very good, in my opinion she needs more aggressive marketing and management, not sure if her father is still manager, if so it may be time to move on. Her Dream With Me PBS Special was, in my opinion, a Masterpiece, her accomplishments were astounding for someone her age and she was kinda the trailblazer leading up to all this extraordinary young talent we see these days, her future is bright. Then comes along Angelina....there aren't enough adjectives in the english language to accurately describe HER. Her admiration is global, from all walks of life, colors, ethnicities, race and musical preferences, she has good people around her and her future is limitless, the world needs this young lady to sing us a song right about now, we need it. You may be interested to know that Angelina has just signed with Republic Records as their number one priority new artist! She had previous turned down dozens of the biggest people in the industry. This is a huge landmark and we all knew it was coming eventually. This label also has Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Ariana grande, Jonas Brothers and more. We hear that she is generally signing on her own terms hopefully meaning a good deal of freedom.
I was just flipping through different reactors for Angelina Jordan and I just had to hear the beautiful voice to go with your colored hair and I am glad I did because I absolutely loved your reaction it was truly heartfelt, I can tell you have a true appreciation for this outrageous young musical genius, if I had a dollar for every tear she brought to my eyes I would be a billionaire, so for now a great reaction I will definitely follow your channel and definitely look forward to some more Angelina Jordan reactions, have a great day and stay healthy.

One of her earlier videos when she was either 6 or a very early 7, and in a studio mind you, covering the Shirley Bassey or Tom Jones versions of I Who Have Nothing. It's beyond amazing. Give that one a reaction and you will have goosebumps all over.
This is one of Angelina's masterpieces, I love everything about it. She has just signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. It is owned by Universal Music Group, one of the Big 4 music companies. I’ve seen this many of times I still get goosebumps on my goosebumps she had some very high notes very high what a job that girl does she’s a child prodigy
I've seen this performance quite a few times but you reminding me that she was only 10yo caused me to take it in with that in mind.
It is astonishing that a 10yo could own the stage with such a big live band, brass section and all, and deliver the best interpretation I've ever heard, and do it so effortlessly.
The brass is in fine tune and timing. There is a timing confidence Angelina brings to the band which elevates the entire performance. I'm no professional though some have understood the micro pause at the start of a phrase as something 'known' to musicians. The band is aware of it. Brings another dimension to the sensation of Angelina and band being one.

Leave it to Angelina to produce your "new favorite cover of this song" (for just about any song you could think of). It doesn't matter what song it is, she manages to give it a new life when she puts it in her voice. There is something so natural and organic about her voice that just draws you in and hypnotizes you for a couple minutes. You mentioned her originals... Oooo If you had plans to do SHIELD, by all means go ahead and do it. You definitely won't be disappointed one bit. She will blow you away yet again with that one. She is a really great singer no matter the age of whoever you want to compare her to. Listen to the original of whatever she is covering some time before you hear the AJ version. She does most of them at least as well as the original and many times her version is even better. Do that with her Adele covers or her Lana DelRey covers for example and see what you think. I'd bet you will honestly favor the Angelina version on many of them.

During the interview she sings a line from "Diamonds Are Forever", no key tone, just her perfect pitch. This interview is NOT a reaction request, but at the end of the video there's a link as she goes onstage after the interview portion to sing her original song "Shield", live with her band. That would indeed be nice for you to react to. One line especially intrigues me: "Forgive me for what I am". I believe the song is for her mother. I've seen the headaches that very gifted children can cause their parents. I wonder if she is referring to that???
Don't think so. Think she realizes that God is her "Shield". "Forgive me for who I am"? We all know we are imperfect. Especially when singing to an all knowing God. I was an Agnostic from 12 to 28. Searched for any meaning to life through Psychology; ESP, Aristotle, Plato, Existentialism, Buddhism, Eastern Religion (meditation), etc. Then I read the Bible and checked out the Prophecies that convinced Sir Isaac Newton; Robert Boyle, and many more to discuss with the atheists of their time, why the prophecies and science prove there must be a God. This is great no matter what age she might be. The end is kick ass good! Still lots you haven't seen. Shield, her original, (tv one- although any works) is awesome. That "something" is as of yet, undefined. Her voice has the ability to play my emotions like a harp. Judging by the tears shed thus far on your AJ journey, (which I just went through again) she has that effect on you too. An analogy i'll use, as a fellow Canadian, you will appreciate. Watching AJ right now would be like watching Wayne Gretzky when he was 10-11 years old (378 goals, 139 assists in 80 games) She is only 14 now!?! Soon, the world will know her name.
