Two great choices. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a Masterpiece. She completely revised this iconic song into a bluesie, jazz rendition. As Queen tweeted right after her performance on AGT: "WOW! Seeing, her rehearsals, arranging a 30 piece brass-band, having no difficulties with the top professionals advising them with the exactness on every note and holding the keys and tones like an opera singer. Fascinating the most brilliant guitarists,... It's an unusual quality. The question is, when is she peeking out, or getting bored. I do not believe the pinnacle is in our focal range. Her hand to assist with the intervals she was singing. Not that she needed that 😀 It is a technique used by some vocal teachers. Thanks so much, Mate.

[wink] Seriously, though, I believe you're referring to a comment that said she has been delivering professional-level vocals since she was 7, not that she was best at that age. (To be fair, at 7 her voice was surprising, yes, but still noticeably child-like, with a certain "hoarse" quality, especially in certain specific parts of her range. As you can hear here, that was largely gone by the time she turned 11. I'd say the sound of her voice _per se_ hasn't changed much since she was that age - she's just gotten better at doing different things with it. (And oh, the number of things she can do with it! You have no idea.)
FYI...Angelina also has original songs she wrote that are amazing, "Shield" and"What is Life". She has not signed a contract as of yet. Appears she would like to remain in control of her artistic gift. She started singing jazz at the age of 1.5 year. BTW, in case you're wondering if the whole "she started singing at 1½" is just "hearsay" that everyone is uncritically repeating, there is actual video evidence. She really was singing that young. Not full songs, of course, but recognizable lyrics (in a different language than she was starting to speak!) and a pretty good approximation of the melody. In the single example we have, it wasn't jazz (reportedly that came a little bit later). It was Whiney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" (which she did a "proper" cover of about 10 years later - although it was more in the style of Dolly's original). The most impressive thing to me (about the "performance" at 1½) is that she was actually "emoting" while singing. You'll see it eventually…

She started singing in her crib at 1.5 years old, or trying to, anyway, with a Whitney Houston song. Her grandmother, the Iranian artist Mery Zamani introduced her to jazz by the time she could walk, & would take her to record shops to browse & buy jazz records. Jazz is her first love and it informs everything she does, though she has covered almost every genre. She is fearless in her song choices and does her own arrangements. She is quite shy when she's not singing, but when she starts to sing she goes off into another world, a beautiful world where only the music exists. It sometimes takes her a moment to come back, as you can see if you look at her eyes, beautiful, dark, luminous Persian eyes, like Freddie Mercury.
Her musical intelligence must be genius level. Like many child prodigies, she is very altruistic. She auditioned for Norway's Got Talent at age seven, singing Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. Two great choices. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a Masterpiece. She completely revised this iconic song into a bluesie, jazz rendition. As Queen tweeted right after her performance on AGT: "WOW! Seriously, though, I believe you're referring to a comment that said she has been delivering professional-level vocals since she was 7, not that she was best at that age. (To be fair, at 7 her voice was surprising, yes, but still noticeably child-like, with a certain "hoarse" quality, especially in certain specific parts of her range. As you can hear here, that was largely gone by the time she turned 11. I'd say the sound of her voice _per se_ hasn't changed much since she was that age - she's just gotten better at doing different things with it. (And oh, the number of things she can do with it! You have no idea.)

FYI...Angelina also has original songs she wrote that are amazing, "Shield" and"What is Life". She has not signed a contract as of yet. Appears she would like to remain in control of her artistic gift. She started singing jazz at the age of 1.5 year. Her grandmother has been influenced in her genre by playing jazz since she was born, As far as her vocals, she was gifted with them. I love how very humble she is.

BTW, in case you're wondering if the whole "she started singing at 1½" is just "hearsay" that everyone is uncritically repeating, there is actual video evidence. She really was singing that young. Not full songs, of course, but recognizable lyrics (in a different language than she was starting to speak!) and a pretty good approximation of the melody. In the single example we have, it wasn't jazz (reportedly that came a little bit later). It was Whiney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" (which she did a "proper" cover of about 10 years later - although it was more in the style of Dolly's original). The most impressive thing to me (about the "performance" at 1½) is that she was actually "emoting" while singing. You'll see it eventually…
