"Balance is the key"
- Gym Leader Blue, Pokémon Stadium 2
Even with Compound Eyes, the Hurricanes still weren't guaranteed, our boy Temp is just really lucky :D
Except for the ones under rain...
Doesn’t it increase by 30? Which would make 100
@@corvinhankins 30% of the base, for a 70% accurate move the new number is around 90% accuracy
91% is good enough for a pretty long string.
7 in a row is a 50% chance; only on 8 is the chance to miss [at least one] higher than a coin flip
I wouldn’t say it’s lucky to hit a move that’s almost guaranteed to hit, it’d be unlucky to not hit it
There's something funny about the legendary embodiment of the earth getting ptsd from a route 1 bug and nopping out of there.
I'm always confused by how these guys think you're hacking. Like, does he imagine you have a button you can click to get a guaranteed crit or 100% accuracy when you need it?
Honestly, what's that's the most reasonable option? The person you're fighting is somehow cheating, or you just forgot (or don't know) about a specific game mechanic? I got called a hacker once for winning a RBY match because the guy got a 1/256 miss, which he didn't know about.
Also, I love how they don't see the problem with claiming your team is crap as they're getting creamed by it.
The funny thing is that they obviously don’t understand enough about software.
The most that the Showdown client does is take in your move choice and send it to the server. Then the server does a calculation and sends the result back to the client, which displays it.
They act like normal people are able to access the Showdown servers or something. If only it was so simple.
These legendary/uber spammers have a mindset of "The more ubers the more better"
Synergy be damned I have six ubers with the most popular smogon set so I am the god of competitive pokemon and anyone who beats me with a well built team that actually works well together is *clearly* hacking 'cause they have no ubers on their team...
“You have too many bad Pokémon”
Dracovish and Marshadow: are we jokes to you?
They do look kinda bad
Imagine using Legendaries and Being toxic vs a Good Skill Enemy..
Gotta love it when chalk-eating cover-art spammers like this get spoon-fed reminders that other mons exist
this guy doesn't know what Compound eyes does, it makes Sleep powder 97.5% accurate and Hurricane 91% accurate.
"This is the furthest thing from fair." He says, completely unaware of the irony as he runs all three of the weather trio, souped up.
Just me or is the editing extra good in this? The zooms and sounds on multiple turns in a row had me cracking up, dude.
Imagine talking shit with your legendary team and getting swept by a Butterfree. A literal butterfly just slew gods like it was a casual Tuesday afternoon.
I think you post the best and funniest showdown content! Other creators are either bad at the game or they add lame/unfunny edits. Keep up the good work Temp!
There's this pineapple guy who's leagues below Temp. Usually he's the one that starts the salt anyway.
Bro I love when people think you’re only allowed to win if you play a specific way.
I can't tell why, but I laughed at every single "HOT HOT HOT" sound clip that played. And they just kept getting funnier!
I truly appreciate the effort on the sound effects. Icing on the cake.
My mans needs to read the pokemons abilities before calling hacks lmao
I know next to nothing about the competitive scene, but one thing I *do* know is that someone whose team is full of legendaries is a n00b.
Your edits just get better man, I laughed my ass off at the Messi one
I cannot explain how disappointed I was when you first used taunt and didn't play, "You're a poopy head".
Watching you destroy these people on Showdown always brings a smile to my face. You are a true Pokémon master 😊❤
Compound eyes is why I’m always excited to get a butterfree in a nuzlocke
the "you're a p00pyhead" taunt audio always get me lmao
i like how he complained about the confusion but not ONCE did any of his pokemon hit themselves while confused
He really went from calling BS to saying “GG, say it back noob” to calling Compound Eyes Butterfree and a critical hit hacks. Yeesh. The only thing that would make this better is if you said “GG, say it back” to them.
Editing and sound effects were really on point with this video dawg. Some of your best work for sure
Salty Loser: I'm gonna tell people about your "obvious hacks" and you're gonna get ban.
Temp: *with Patrick's voice* I'm waiting...
Did the guy really set the rain to make sure all your Hurricanes would hit? How kind of him. 🥰
Not only is this Hilarious to watch, it's really helpful getting some good strategy ideas for inexperienced competitive players. I'd never have thought to to a butterfree with quiver dance, sleep powder, substitute and leftovers!
imagine having 3 gods as your teammates, and you all lose to A BUTTERFLY
“Too many bad Pokémon”
Guess Rotom, Dracovish and Marshadow just doesn’t exist lmao
and Cottonee
I got to the part where the Sans sound effect played exactly as I saw your PFP. It's too perfect
@@Prexon339 well you had a good time

"You merely adopted the Art of Substitute. But I was born in it!"
You should have done !data compound eyes so he'd realize why butterfree was hitting every move but I think letting them think it's hacks is even funnier
If he would've done it
Either this guy says" I'm sorry sir , I apologise oh no I am sad" or
"Hacks, hacking non existent bs moves "
It was a win or lose situation
Ah yeas, *Ninjask baton passing when there's no other pokemon left* peak peformance
I've never played a game of Showdown, but I feel like I'd destroy these legendary spammers 😂 their cockiness is next level lmfao
Don’t underestimate the power of idiots
Also btw the 2 guys in the video are both tempt, he played himself on another account, he does it almost every vid
@@MrMonkey2150 it could actually be another player. Their are surprisingly alot of salty players who play Showdown. But it entertaining either way
@@MrMonkey2150 yeahhhh? Prove it lol.
@@MrMonkey2150 Where did you find this information out?
@@normalman1240 my guy use your eyes and the fact that you can search up a username in showdown and see the stats, these people in his vids literally did like 1 battle
Butterfree with compound eyes with timid or modest, You're dead 😭
Isn't butterfrees whole gimmick is to never miss?
Ita like he doesn't know that Butterfree has Compound Eyes
Me resulta muy raro que un jugador de pokemon no conozca la habilidad Ojo Compuesto siendo de las habilidades comunes en los pokémon mariposas
i love how he really is like "let's battle again. i lost last time and i'm literally going to change 0 things about my strategy"
I love watching these, however as someone who hasn't played pokemon since the 1st generation, it just seems even more hilarious to me when you absolutely dumpster someone who's got a team that mainly has legendaries XD
"YOU'RE MAD, I'M BACK" for the butterfree switch 😂😂
Never in my life did I imagine I would see a team of legends get fucking annihilated by a butterfree
Went out like an anime villain
“I refuse!”
“NO! HOW COULD IT BE?!”
“NO!”

Another reason why I never use High Jump Kick on any of my Pokemon.
Man has the Weather Trio, loses to a Butterfree, and calls cheap?
Children are so stupid.
