This was so good! I see a lot of people complaining about it being different than normal, but you never grow or learn if you always stick to what's comfortable and what you know. So thank you, Petrolicious for putting yourselves out there and daring to learn and try new things!
I completely disagree... I did not enjoy this video as I do all others. The story each owner has is just as interesting as the cars them self's. Also too much camera shake.
I agree with Stefen and Samuel. The reason I love this channel is the stories that owner has about the car. Its not a channel about cars its a channel about loving cars. The Admirals Ferrari and Building a dream Ferrari are the peak of that kind of video. I would love to see more like those two.
Interesting. This was a different style film for you guys. Although it was good, it wasn't my favorite. I prefer the more intimate picture of the car you traditionally paint. Static close ups, sexy pans, and following shots. This felt less about the Alpine and more about the sound, the road, or the driving experience in general. The car felt like a supporting element of a film rather than it's focus. None of this is bad, I just really love to see the car front and center. This is just a personal opinion. NEVER stop doing what you're doing. Petrolicious is what pulled me into UA-cam as my main source for automotive consumption. Thank you!
Agree that I'd like to get a better close up of the car to really appreciate the styling & details and was thinking the same as you. Vid description makes a big point about the car experience, so I'll assume they took the film in that direction. Great roads and sounds though. Need to Google this car.......
There isn't a walk around or even a single stationary shot of the vehicle. I basically just watched a four minute video of a car and still don't have an opinion on how it looks because it was never really shown. I want to see the car, not just get an impression of it.
Daniel Private Excellent point. There are dozens of images of A110s in a Google image search, but none that will give you the impression that petrolicious has. Thanks petrolicious.
well...I got goosebumps multiple times during this video, and I think Petrolicious aimed for that kind of audience with this video, which is, essence of cars because you DRIVE them, you dont look at them. We all love the looks and all (that is mostly why we choose a certain car for ourselves), but passion truly lies in driving them and feeling it :)
Just read a few comments and I think some are missing the point. This wasnt meant to be a story about a car and driver. This was a short film. It could have been an extended ad for an up coming movie about Alpine, a watch advert, maybe even an ad for the gloves. Its doesnt really matter as it was just really cool, and very exciting. We all come here for what we know and love BUT its great to see the crew at Petrol do something fun. I'm a fan.
I really enjoyed this video. I guess lots of people only get to like videos of some one drifting and screaming power!! With the same old profile shots over and over. Thus brings out emotions, true petrol heads appreciate the subject and the message. Petrolicious you keep doing whatever you want, I'll keep watching and praising your outstanding productions.
Beautiful video. Enjoyed it very much and appreciate the effort that went in to making it. Will visit Herr Clauss some day in the near future, when he has time. I nearly bought an Alpine many years ago and always regretted passing it by. Thanks for the beautiful impressions.
beautiful blend of music and exhaust note. Lovely filmmaking. Felt as though I was experiencing it. Great cinematography. Love it. And a sweet Alpine to boot!
Don't get me wrong, I love your videos where you interview owners and shoot their cars more in depth, but holy s*** this video is phenomenal. I love how it was shot and I can't wait to see the next video! Keep them coming! I've been subscribed for several years now and I haven't been let down!!!
I have watched almost every video you have posted, this one is by far the best! Camera angles, colour, sound, total perfection. I got goosebumps watching it. I bow in the honour of artist achievement
This is a beautiful video because it highlights the pleasure in driving a sports car is away of living a meaningful life, have fun, it just happens to be a classic a110 Alpine.
I'm normally a fan of your films but the style of this film with the shaky camera and pumping orchestral score made me feel like I was watching a Jason Bourne film. It wasn't bad, just not what made me fall in love with this channel in the first place. Your understated films are by far my favorites. Keep up the great work overall
Seems the style of this video was hit or miss with people, but I personally loved it. I don't think it was overdone and, sometimes, nothing need be said :)
That was fun, not quite C'était un rendez-vous but evokes it just a bit. Cars don't always have to be about numbers - sometimes style is just enough. Nice job fellows....now that you have that out of your system......
why does everybody have to be so critical in the comments? is there some fine art filmmaking group that always refers to these videos and critiques in the comments for extra credit? cant we all just appreciate a well made short film about vintage cars?
Love the stylized shooting. The 24 fps and the grainy effects. Great editing, too. But... I also watch for the story. Where's the story??? Thumbs' up, anyway.
yess, but no flag in the front plate. "VD" for " Vaud " Township. The back plate has a swiss and township flag www.google.ch/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vd.ch%2Ffileadmin%2F_migrated%2Fpics%2Fformat_plaques_03.gif&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vd.ch%2Fthemes%2Fmobilite%2Fautomobile%2Fplaques-dimmatriculation%2Fechange-de-plaques-format%2F&docid=WdJuE2Imu7TvUM&tbnid=OSFAkGJ0Lqk0bM%3A&vet=1&w=480&h=306&bih=894&biw=1280&q=plaque%20min%C3%A9ralogique%20vaudoise&ved=0ahUKEwivpYSL2pTRAhWaOFAKHW5YCFEQMwgcKAAwAA&iact=mrc&uact=8
The Golf GTi is 40 years old this year. Is it not time to do one for the original hot hatch! Love this channel. just waiting to see one for an original mk1 golf gti or mk2 golf 16v gti or g60 or a rallye golf
This channel is known for its quality
This video was really short though still amazing content
Most beautiful sportscar ever build.
Don’t think so that would be the Lamborghini Miura
A perfect description of a drivers car.A machine to shake and awake your senses.Beautiful video!
Just Beautiful
A video that doesn´t need words to describe anything.
This was so good! I see a lot of people complaining about it being different than normal, but you never grow or learn if you always stick to what's comfortable and what you know. So thank you, Petrolicious for putting yourselves out there and daring to learn and try new things!
nice car the guy driving it looked like a 90s techno german
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the old school feel
This style of video is much better than all the talking, boring ones!
The stories are part of the charm in my opinion.
I completely disagree... I did not enjoy this video as I do all others. The story each owner has is just as interesting as the cars them self's. Also too much camera shake.
I like both types of videos, so i win.
I agree with Stefen and Samuel. The reason I love this channel is the stories that owner has about the car. Its not a channel about cars its a channel about loving cars. The Admirals Ferrari and Building a dream Ferrari are the peak of that kind of video. I would love to see more like those two.
From when Porn is allowed on UA-cam?
Oh my god, this is a whole new level, this is a work of art
Careful there, the camera shaking is approaching Jason Bourne territory.
Too much drama; not enough car...
Drive tastefully.
Not enough car on camera. The car is OK.
Interesting. This was a different style film for you guys. Although it was good, it wasn't my favorite. I prefer the more intimate picture of the car you traditionally paint. Paul K I love Alpines, but I'm about 150lbs and 6" too tall to drive one unfortunately.
Amazing video, it really grabbed my attention and makes me feel like I'm there in the moment. Brilliant mix of visual and sound too!!
please less music-more engine noises !
Here we have a "thimble" of a car.Done epicly , with pure , sports car , passion . This is a "jem" in automotive cinematography.
B R A V O ! !
This car is a prove that previously cars were build with passion with design and beauty in mind, no electronics, no bs, just the driver and the car.
Definitely a pleasant twist without the commentating however I enjoy listening to the love of the cars that comes from their owners mouths.
Finest video I have seen in a ling while.
That is the whole point!
It's not like there isn't two other Renault Alpine videos on the Petrolicious channel.
well...I got goosebumps multiple times during this video, and I think Petrolicious aimed for that kind of audience with this video, which is, essence of cars because you DRIVE them, you dont look at them. We all love the looks and all (that is mostly why we choose a certain car for ourselves), but passion truly lies in driving them and feeling it :)
shut ur mouth

Oh my days,what a stunning and enjoyable video.Well Done,Petrolicious.
The most beautiful car for E-V-E-R.
This is probably the best looking petrolicious video to date. Well done.
Extremely gorgeous video, this is. Expresses so much about our automotive dreams without any words
Every week a automotive masterpiece, every week a film.... piece of art!!
Thanks again to sharing with us.
WOW...the entire video, music makes this one AWESOME! Doesn't hurt the car has a great soundtrack ========
That gentleman's smile, sums it all up. That's the reason of the love affair with are cars
Killer film again. I love seeing stuff like this to break it up from your usual stuff.
No words were needed. It's been a long time since you've made a great piece like this.
That engine sounds beautiful. Like a big, roaring, wild cat uncaged and joyfully running through the woods.
Love these Alpines!
Stunning video. Congratulations to all of those that made it possible. It was a joy to watch.
10/10 quality
Love your Vids. A wonderful peace of art! Thx for sharing with us!
Wow, guys. That was quite thrilling! Well done.
I really enjoyed this video. I guess lots of people only get to like videos of some one drifting and screaming power!!
With the same old profile shots over and over.

Petrolicious you keep doing whatever you want, I'll keep watching and praising your outstanding productions.
Now, this? This was so fucking incredible!
Beautiful video. Enjoyed it very much and appreciate the effort that went in to making it. Will visit Herr Clauss some day in the near future, when he has time. I nearly bought an Alpine many years ago and always regretted passing it by. Thanks for the beautiful impressions.
Wow. Really great car, cinematography, and music! I really loved it!
That last shot in the woods was amazing.
One of the BEST! :)
beautiful blend of music and exhaust note. Lovely filmmaking. Felt as though I was experiencing it. Great cinematography. Love it. And a sweet Alpine to boot!
Every video you do on a car needs to have one like this afterwards. I loved it, well done!
This was fantastic. Beautiful scenery! I feel i was very much pulled into the story through the music and filming.

This is quality, I feel like I should be paying for this, buying a drive tastefully tee
I have watched almost every video you have posted, this one is by far the best! Camera angles, colour, sound, total perfection. I got goosebumps watching it. I bow in the honour of artist achievement
That’s the greatest title ever put on a car video, ever.
Best video i have seen on UA-cam today!
Such a beautiful video, aweosome car
At least the driver smiled near the end.
This is a beautiful video because it highlights the pleasure in driving a sports car is away of living a meaningful life, have fun, it just happens to be a classic a110 Alpine.
I've never seen one in the United States. However, I remember them well as a kid in Mexico. El Renault 110!!
Dinalpin :)
Geniales Video Jürgen. Perfekt!
Awesome video. Thank you!
You guys should get Emmys for your videos.
Amazing video, I loved every second of it!
Dude looks like ninji from die antwoord
LMAO
What happened to the story!? The owners passion, the long search for the right car etc etc. Thats the best bit for me.
they already did a story with this guy in a previous video. he's obsessed with a110s, and it's one of my favorite videos on the channel.
Pretolicious I think it's time you show us on of your cars.
It's a Toyota Prius and a Suzuki Alto ≧∇≦😂
My favorite car of them all.
Absolutely marvelous .
pure driving. period.
stunning.
Thankfully not a BMW or Porsche. More French cars please!
i´m not a friend of Alpine or Renault... but this ... this is real - CARPORN - and i love it !!!
I'm normally a fan of your films but the style of this film with the shaky camera and pumping orchestral score made me feel like I was watching a Jason Bourne film. Guessing more hit with 1,500 thumbs up to 93 down.
Petrolicious dominating as per usual
That was fun, not quite C'était un rendez-vous but evokes it just a bit. Cars don't always have to be about numbers - sometimes style is just enough. Nice job fellows....now that you have that out of your system......
I don't know much about the car, but man this was beautifully shot!
no words needed, thank you petrolicious
Loved it , that right there was art
I love driving the rally version of this car, on dirt rally
Nice Car
These ones are going to raise in value big time. (just like the air cooled porsches)
Breathtaking.
Breathtaking!
it be nice if we actually saw the car instead of a drive by
The POV shots inside the car are amazing. reminds me of bullit.
My dream car. Beautiful technique
great way to start the day!
What an amazing channel 😍😍😍
Best video ever !
why does everybody have to be so critical in the comments? is there some fine art filmmaking group that always refers to these videos and critiques in the comments for extra credit? cant we all just appreciate a well made short film about vintage cars?

Thumbs' up, anyway.
There's already a story about that guy and his obsession with Alpines.
Looks like a Swiss license plate. Could be.
yess, but no flag in the front plate. "VD" for " Vaud " Township. The back plate has a swiss and township flag

This is Amazing.
The Golf GTi is 40 years old this year. Is it not time to do one for the original hot hatch! Love this channel. just waiting to see one for an original mk1 golf gti or mk2 golf 16v gti or g60 or a rallye golf
just an awesome video!
I'm 55 and I still haven't ever seen an A110 in person.

Makes me want to take my white Peugeot 106 Rallye S1 into the autumn woods!
