@@jimross364 That’s a good question. I will have to look into that for something available locally. In the meantime I will use the same primer and finish coat because I have it left over. So it’s free essentially. It’s a good point. I might be too old later to scrub and paint.
@62tofreedom51 I think there's an additive you can add to the paint to stop the growth of mold, etc. I wondered how some houses and walls there managed to keep looking good over time... There's a couple who built above Dumaguete (Dauin) who mixed that and their place looks brand new after a couple of years. .. I think James also uses some sort of anti mold mix with his paint (Texas Filipino channel)... Certainly I'm picking up a lot of tips for our build... Daughter's house getting there, the storms have delayed completion but by the end of the year we will start sending stuff over... That's just the start, much more to come!
