Paramount Comedy Channel - Start-up, Summer 1998

Friday night comedy, every night.
Well to be fair, second programme aside (I grant you that clip hasn’t aged well) is a very strong line up and certainly more worthy than wall to wall Friends on modern day Comedy Central.
For context Paramount Comedy used to follow Nickelodeon every night at 7:00pm with lots of acquired US sitcoms, classic British shows and a mix of new material from up and coming comedians. It wasn’t uncommon for the last minute of Nickelodeon to be used exclusively for Paramount trailers.
Paramount Comedy became Comedy Central in 2009.
