That looked pretty mellow for Sydney. I totally gave up on cycling in Sydney, despite almost 40yrs of cycling love, raised in a cycle friendly EU country. SYD was just too dangerous, I got run off the road 3 times before I'd had enough. The gutter! The last time I got run off the road I was cycling through Kurnell, 40 zone, with 3 cars following me no problem. The 4th however, with cars parked both sides of the street, overtook all 3 cars in front of him and cut me off with cm's to spare. Got out of his ute to abuse me and when I asked him where I should ride instead, he pointed to and told me "in the gutter". Never got on a bike again in SYD after that. Moved to WA 2.5 yrs ago, started venturing out again, bit by bit, building up confidence. I'm now riding again 5 days a week, traffic here is so much better than Sydney.
could, but this is not mendatory and maybe he is turning right next turn so this would have been stupid, or maybe the bikelane is dangerous because of building entrances where people do not care about bikelane and just cross them without looking first.
that bike lane lasts less than 100m, doesn't end up going where I want to go (right at the next roundabout) and as seen in 01:10 is often more dangerous. So thanks but no thanks ;)

I see Camry's completely forgetting about blindspots is not a uniquely Melbourne thing then 🙄
First clip I lived on that road there for 5 years. Everyone sped and would honk at people turning into their driveways.
To be fair, at 34 seconds you could have been riding in the separated bike lane

As a cyclist myself, 0:05 was normal. In non-cyclist friendly countries, cycling is not for the weak of heart.
if by "perfectly fine" you mean illegal and dangerous driving, then we agree.
