This was a very fun experiment but due to the amount of coats and material IDK that I would take this full scale but it could be done this way with any pearl pigments you choose. Thanks for watching everyone!!!
BEUTIFUL MY FRIEND
Good job John 👏🏾 it came out really nice! I give it a 4.5! 🔥
Looks good it's pretty close 3
BIGGGGG DAAAAWG!! MY MAN!! I was hoping you'd do this. Looks perfect!!!
I hear the request man I think you were the one that actually asked me to do it but I hear everybody man I'm trying to do all you guys suggestions thanks for watching lol
@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS it was me, and I appreciate you doing these, man.
Like that color. Was asking bout one similar a while back like the hoc antifreeze green.
Nice job but maybe to many coats I don't see the charcoal gray in it
That looks good I might be wrong but I think if you put that many coats over White it may work
WOW! The lighter base really changed the finish color. If you were trying to match that Camaro green, you did a great job. Well done . This is a 5
I’m not a big fan of green but I would give this color a 4 all day long! Another great video Jonathan
That is awesome it’s looks like the alien green on my Kia soul
Good job!, that got really close to the color of the Camaro. It shows what can be done with a little different base and more coats. Maybe more pearl in the mix, I don't know but I was impressed.
Could you this same video with a white or light gray base?
Nice, but I would've preferred maybe if you split the fender with black. Just to see the difference.
I actually did it over black on the previous episode if you wanna check it out thanks for watching
Hi Johnathon, Interesting video and a LOT OF WORK! A couple of weeks ago I bought the 10 jar kit of chameleon power. I had two old 14" pretty nasty terracotta flower pots that I cleaned the painted over with 2K primer then 3 coats of gloss black Rustoleum. In the Rustoleum I used a 3:1 ratio with Acetone and 1 teaspoon of acrylic hardener. Let that dry over night then mixed 1g of Champagne Powder into the clear and applied 3 coats. WOW it came out great! Will make nice gifts! Used your videos with other's that use quarts of Rustoleum to paint things. The combo is great. Thanks!
That's awesome man Glad you were able to knock out some really cool projects always glad to see people's work as well if you get some time send me some pics Whitleyautoworks@gmail.com and thanks again for watching
I will give it 4
Pretty impressive!
"Metallic Pistachio"
Looks good I give it a 4. 👍👍👍
4
This was really cool. Do you think you could come up with a rustoleum/pearl combo akin to Ford’s Tangerine Scream?
I'll see what I can do stay tuned thanks for watching
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS awesome. You’re the man
I think it would have been pretty funny if you’d have swirled the cup around and had it come out of the cup and all over you. 😂🤣 You might have made a good Shrek 🤣😂
That is a cool color, but it looked to me to be a little off from that camero green 🤷🏼♂️. I’d give it a 4 though. The color is pretty cool. Thanks for doing the video. I’ve been thinking about spraying a couple of test panels myself to try and achieve that color
Would still like to see a purple pearl over orange if possible please.
I haven't forgotten about you I got a bunch on spray outs coming up with a purple pearl
Awesome job! The grey is so much better as a base for this color. did you have to wait 20-30 minutes between coats?
Yes still had to wait about 30 minutes between coats so it was a very long day for one spray out lol
What about using white or yellow as a base to get a brighter green? Thanks
You can do that to a certain extent I don't know if you watch the video right before this one but the pearl kind of got lost over key lime green which was kind of the same concept if you were to do whatever white it would take even more coats than I did in this video but yes it can be done thanks for watching
What if you started with a dark green base??
Yeah you could do that as well it would give it a lighter pearl twinkle which would look very good thanks for watching
do you train immin nc too
I might be in the near future if your interested and I'm gonna be doing some beginner videos the first one comes out tomorrow
I can never get to ur Amazon page
