In the original GT, Super, and Wicked Bloodline Rezone stages, I won a few simply because Metal Cooler died at the right time by burning and boss super.
In this meta he doesn’t have the opportunity to die on Turn 4 or 5 and get floated off.
He works infinitely better at 55%. He always dies.

MC has clutched plenty of redzones for me off his free ghost usher revive. And true, 55% MC is massively better than rainbow MC. I'd say Syn event is his cutoff point where he shows his age though it IS an event with Str aoe phase. Everything before that he's fine in.

I agree with your criticism on WT Goku. I always hated this unit because of 50% guard and the revive conditions. I also agree with the Piccolo JR praise because he rarely let me down while Goku did it a lot. I never cared about what the community thinks about units. If they don't perform well for me I dislike them :)

A ton of people were very "meh" about Metal Cooler when he first released, but this video definitely solidifies just how underwhelming that his kit is, especially in the current meta. He doesn't provide very much protection for anyone else on the rotation, he doesn't take hits very well, and his revive doesn't do anything meaningful to help buff the team and himself so that he doesn't die again.
I think that he is solid in the right setup, he works really well with other characters that have healing abilities. He is a good fit for the str cooler team but rn that’s about it
I lowkey forgot Goku nullifies ki supers since all the hard recent fights have been not ki based.
Cooler should have stacked attack, had a bit higher stats and he should have been able to get some damage reduction post revival. Such a waste

@@lancevance6346He was a carnival LR back when the standard was TEQ Goku. He should’ve been quite a bit stronger even on-release. His Dokkanfest counterpart was arguably the best unit in the game, LR Metal Loser was barely even top 10.
@@ningenslayer6306 He was just fine and a good option for every redzone atleast upto pre Syn event. Syn event too if you aren't a no item nut. He's done his time well. Agl MC was a DPS in a meta where only damage mattered to shine, MC is a support utility that goes unnoticed most of the time because he contributes passively and situationally. But he provided good value to Str Cooler and villain teams for a while when they needed it.

The problem is that the direct comparison Dokkan themselves made was to Carnival Goku, who was *at least* top 5 and could be argued as high as 2. Metal Cooler was way worse even when he came out. Headlining WWC means we should expect a unit better than Yellow Coin LRs from that year, yet both Golden Frieza and Merged Zamasu shat on him.

From what I've seen of lr metal cooler, he seems better at 55% than at rainbow max LL10, cuz at max he is just strong enough to survive. At 55% he would die at points you would want him to die and survive at points you would want him to live, at least from what I've seen
All they had to do was add "Activates Guard once revived" to his kit and all would be good

Zamasu is the better unit and banner but his team is ass. Vegito has the worse banner but he has the best leader skill and team in game.

Quick question guys, like the year 8 buu duo, vegeta and trunks does the Lr agl blue Goku and vegeta get the 150% of the base defence. Or does it keep increasing when they’re def increases?
So:
If they are on 200k def turn 1 and get 150% of that to 500k def.
Then turn 3,
260k def do they get 150% of the turn 1 defence (300k extra let’s say) or would they get 150% defence of the newly stacked amount.
So 150% of 260k in this instance? So it would be 650k turn 3 (increase of 390k def instead of the turn 1 increase of 300k in slot 1)
TLDR: Does stacking increase the attack and defence boost for being in slot 1. (Units like Vegeta and Trunks, Buu Duo and new Blue Goku and Vegeta)
stacking is always seperate from everything, but i think the 150% is added to whatever % they have at the start of turn and not multiplied but im not sure
