I have an XS pro Browning. I had a Beretta 691 which I had trouble with, didn't like the finish on it, and in the rain the wood would turn white. I think the older Berettas were better. The cheaper guns , Browning seem to be better finished
A good comparison with sound findings and conclusions. I like both guns, but the Berettas tend to have better triggers, while the wood and fit is better on the Brownings, compared level to level. Perry P., USA
That is correct. Always wanted a Browning, but tried one once and was shocked how much it doesn't fit me. Picked a Beretta - perfect fit without even adjusting the comb.
Two different level guns compared, lol. And the fitment is completely different as well - if Browning's high comb fits you, it will be impossible to shoot Beretta and vice versa.
@dave_724 external finish doesn't break targets though, and for a week of 1 hour a night the wood can be london finished, put a kick eez pad on it and its as good as externally as the p gun easily, internally it is best finished gun under 20k
Agree. If you shoot Berettas then you don’t shoot Brownings. And comparing the 725 to the 686 is pointless. Two entirely different guns in my opinion. The 686 he has there appeared to be a hunter. Get a 686 Sporter and then put it against a 725. Personally, I think the Brownings feel like holding onto a 2x4 whereas the Beretta is much more nimble and sleek in the hand. But then that’s the real answer isn’t it: Buy what fits and the rest takes care of itself.
Another superb video Ed, an in depth and comprehensive review from the perspective of the end user.
Not really fair, but point taken. 694 vs 725 more comparable I belive. Love my Citori CX White across the pond here...
Should it not have been a 694 v 725? The 686 is on par with the 525.
Not a fair comparison really
I would argue the 525 is a better gun than the 725.
I Agree
Browning is the best! Beretta is over price
Put a mk38 in the mix and that woukd be even better great video
How hard do you wanna put them guns on the table 🤣
Agree, can't go wrong with either but the Browning just has a better shooters feel.

Ill take that Browning any day i have the 725-32" barrels 20Bore great gun.
Fully agree there Dfox. Same gun and it absolutely hammers anything it hits with 2 x 1/4 ds chokes.

Off topic..... Would you say the webley sport x handled more like a browning than a beretta?
where did you get your prescription shooting glasses from?
Don’t like Beretta I have 3 725s field feather and a 20 gauge feather awesome guns
I agree the berreta is to light to me is a hunting shotguns.
686 against Citori C whatever
694 vs 725
Miroku !
The point here is fit, not Beretta vs Browning. I was really interested in Benelli until I tried one, absolutely hated it.

I’ve always loved my brownings more due to the weight. I always found I was over swinging on berettas. But much more controlled with the browning.
Thought silver pig was heavier than 525
@ maybe it’s how the weight is on it. But I’ve always felt much better with the 525 so who knows 🤣🤷🏻♂️
I've had my 725 since they first came out, but it did have the fail to fire the second shot curse. Two new springs and an inertia block sorted it 👍
@_Archie98 love how a gun they advertised as having mechanical triggers still has need of an inertia block.
@STTrout it is a bit of a con but still love the gun
Beretta 👑⚡
The winner is the one that fits

Cant go wrong with either surely. Both seem to hold used values aswell.
Not a fair comparison 686/525
694 that’s its rival that would be a fair test 🫣
Unless it’s around 12 grand it’s not competitive. Also it must have ported barrels. Lol
825 vs 688 c'mon meow
There are other guns out there some way better some worse.
Not a fair comparison…
You obviously have a beretta😂🤣
Own both…. B725 and a DT11.
I'd take a yildiz pro over both, 4 x the gun for same money
Maybe that could be a future review?
I wouldn’t have either of the 3 but the yildiz isn’t bad but you can see where they save on money on the finish with the yildiz

Pointless.
