    The Incorporated Television Company, abbreviated as ITC, was founded by Lew Grade in 1954 as the distribution unit of ATV (Associated Television). The company branched out into TV series and film production, and they were brought by PolyGram in 1995. The company ceased operations when PolyGram was brought by Seagrams and Sons in December 1998. ITC is best known for being the company behind many successful British cult TV filmed series during the 1960s and 1970s, such as The Saint, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Danger Man, The Baron, Gideon's Way, The Champions, The Prisoner, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Stingray, Joe 90, Man in a Suitcase, Strange Report, Department S, The Persuaders!, Jason King, The Adventurer, The Protectors, Space 1999, and Return of the Saint.
