I enjoyed every second of that, thanks! As an illustrator, I can't help offering a few things that might make it easier for you: a less absorbent paper, so you get less bleeding of the ink; an eraser shield to help protect the good parts when erasing, or to do the final on a separate sheet over the construction lines, so you don't need to erase construction lines at all. No matter what, your drawings are wonderful.

I am getting a crazy idea now. I will get a jali (lattice) made. Not sure how much this will cost me. lol. Where are my Jain craftsmen? Time travel!
PS. The patterns come alive in black and white than in color although I would go to Daulatabad for turquoise ...

Thanks so much for your tutorials, they're satisfying to watch, and also to do! I really surprised myself actually, never thought I'd be able to do something like this... Mind you, I don't know how you managed to do the 6mm circles with a compass :O Mine wasn't co-operating, so I tried many different things, getting some very weird circles, lol. Finally it clicked, I needed a circle template. Hurrah! It works a dream and I'm drawing those 6mm circles like they're going out of style ;) Thanks again :)

Due to the lines being regular you only need to make 4 of these in a square then you can extend the guild lines as longs as you want.

@@moatazyacour9971 you cant even prove it, because its false😂 this attitude is ridiculous. In the time those patterns where developped, the maghreb was united, going from lybia to south of spain, so it would be kind of hard to say whoever made this or that, and thats what the whole world knows. Youre the one who should probably get a history check before talking.
